The silver mist transportation method, a long lost attempt at dematerialization instead turned to teleportation, Shadow and Gabriel felt as if they were being cast along a long hill covered in ice, smooth, yet bumpy at some parts they could not control were they were going, nor how fast they were flying down that field. Only, when they hit the ground did it all stop, they were left woozy on the floor of a familiar castle. The voice of a quaint female paladin echoed throughout the halls, "Oh... are you okay?" She asked. The warrior took no time in waiting, quickly the warrior stood up and looked into Shadow and Gabriel's eyes. "One blue.. one purple" the voice of a female resonated from the seemingly hollow armor. "What the hell is up with you.." Gabriel rubbed his head, "You could have warned us you know.." He started cursing.

"Who are you anyways?" Shadow looked at the female warrior.

"Most know me, as X, and until further notice I will remain known as such." She replied coldly.

"Lighten up.. sheesh.." Gabriel stopped cursing and stood up.

"Hmm.. well, I was looking for you two, the last of the your kind, well our kind perhaps.." She pondered a little bit before speaking up again. "I was just going to kill you, but I did make a promise, not to harm you instead to lead you on your destiny." She chuckled, it was almost as if the woman had held no remorse.

"Well, Were do we need to even go?.." Shadow asked.

"Well, Your souls seem to need strenghtened, they lack durability." X looked at them, "I guess, the desert of woe will do the trick." "Paladin, send word to the Blind warrior, to meet us in the desert of woe." She grabbed the two and they vanished into the silver dust again.

They were quickly swooped away on the slick path towards werever they were going, which was a supprisingly short journy they re appeared outside the castle gates.

"Awee... what the hell.." Shadow rubbed his forehead, he had smashed face first onto the ground, Gabriel just lay on the ground staring into the dark abyss they once knew as clouds that overhung the area surrounding their city.

"We could have walked." Gabriel sat up.

"Yea.." X laughed and helped Gabriel up, "So, I have no clue were we are going!" X Announced loudly, "That's wonderful, lets walk for a while" Shadow stood up and stumbled a little, "Woops stood up too fast" his world shimmered a little before he regained full balance and control.

"Down this path lies what?" X stared off into the distance, "Well, down this path is a desert village we trade with I suppose we could ask them for directions?" Gabriel smiled and looked at X.

X started thinking rapidly, her heartbeat sped up a little bit, "This boy.. is kind of cute.. and goofy." She thought to her self.

"Sounds good." Shadow started walking down the path awaiting their movement slowly, they caught up and walked next to him.

Their journy was long, they walked down the path and around the mountainous bend, oddly enough no form of conversation came from any of them, they just walked. The sun had began to set, "We are almost there.." Shadow saw the fire in the distance of their torches.

"Ah.. what happened to this place anyways.?" X asked.

"Oh.. Thaddious sort of stormed it, destroying all the life around us as we know it." Gabriel said with a peppy voice.

"And your city was untouched why?.." She was puzzled.

"Well, we fought back." Shadow grinned.

"Just you two..?!" She stopped moving and reassessed them, "These two.. alone took on Thaddious...?"
