The Blind warrior awoke at the peak of the sun, high in the sky on the other side of the dark wall that seemed to part the two worlds that were the same yet different spacial remnants due to the passing storm of darkness. He woke Gabriel up and looked around for Shadow who had vanished sometime earlier in the day. "Shadow?" Gabriel looked around for his friend, there weren't any tracks as to were he had went nor why he did.
Shadow had entered the cave and ventured further in, bound by curiosity he walked through it entirely, the cave itself was a straight shot almost like a tunnel towards the exit however there were several branches that happened to lead further into the depths. At the end of the tunnel Shadow discovered a skeleton that had a bag of books and a stick, "possibly a traveler?" He thought to himself, he looted the body and ventured back to Gabriel and the Blind warrior.
"Hmm he must have wandered off.." Gabriel looked around, they fueled the fire as it was slightly chilly at this time.
"I forgot, that winter comes soon." the blind warrior looked up to the sky, no difference was visible in the clouds although the temperature drop clearly showed the change in climate.
"hmm." Gabriel got ready as did the Blind Warrior, Shadow exited the cave and smiled "Found some stuff."
He walked down the path towards his friends and dropped the bag on the ground they all eagerly searched it to see what exactly the loot was.
"The Arc." Shadow looked at the worn out book, it was leather, clearly that of a scholars possession.
"The Arc"

Long ago, a man named Arc had ventured out on a quest to learn the meaning of life. On his way he discovered much power that soon drove him mad, from this madness he stumbled forth into the ocean. Drowning and fading he decided that his time had come, and upon his last second of life he was drug further downwards, unconscious he fell. When he awoke he met the cold cloaked Death, the one and only Angel of Darkness.
"you are.. the end?" Arc looked into the misty cloak.
"mmmhmm." Deaths hollow voice echoed throughout the dimension they had entered.
"Are you lonely?" Arc asked.
"I am." Death looked around.
"Do you want a friend.?" Arc looked at death and smiled.
"Yes..." Death replied.
"Well, here's my idea, i'll be your friend forever, just use my soul to hold all the souls you bring so we can be near each other all the time cause' you'll have to visit me often and we can talk and have tea." Arc smiled wide.
"Sure." Death replied.
And thus, Arc was departed from his body the first soul that could live without a host, instead he was now the host of any given soul too strong for Death to send towards their fate purgatory or not. He was also the new Purgatory, Death had visited him every few hours and poured thousands of souls into him, so many different ones so many different powers. However, Death knew his mistake and never corrected it, he fueled a mans madness and lust for power in his attempt to learn the meaning of life, Arc had become the Arc of Souls.
Arc, learned the meaning of life, it is..."
The remainder of the page was torn off, "hmm.." Shadow passed the book off to Gabriel and picked up another, the Blind Warrior had been reading one that was written in a foreign language, his face was red.
"What book is that?" Gabriel looked at him.
"Erhm.. nothing just nothing.." the blind warrior stuffed it into his belt and grabbed another.
