Gabriel re-appeared at his castle, only to think of the battle he had recently been thrown through, watching his best friend vanish before his eyes like he was nothing, Issac leaving him alone.. He had nothing left, only Saria, who may soon fade as well if what Issac had said turns out to be true.

Sarias voice echoed through the hall "You're back" she smiled.

A single tear ran down Gabriels face, "What's wrong?"

"Come to think of it, were is Shadow and Issac?"

Sarias facial expression changed from happiness to a pure look of fear and regret as she waited for his answer.

"Issac joined Thaddious, and Shadow was vaporized in front of me.." Gabriel could hardly speak, a knot seemed to reside in his stomach and throat.

"Oh.." Saria sat down on the cold hard ground.

"So that's it, we are to die here.." She looked around.

"No, I've got one last hope, although it may be some sort of a legend or myth i'm going to try!" Gabriel shouted as loud as he could.

"What is that?" She looked into his eyes.

"The Great Crystal!" he smiled.

"That's not a myth, that is were our homeland resides, our race was born and succeeded in the crystal caverns, they're not too far from here.." She smiled.

"So there is more hope then I expected, good!" He grinned, rushed over to kiss her and rushed out.

"He's going to get himself killed." she chuckled talking to her unborn child.

Gabriel rushed out of the castle through the town square only to stop at the gate to enjoy the last bit of jubilant music and playful laughter that he would experience for a long time..

After a few moments of enjoying his home he rushed down the hill and teleported swiftly across the dry and barren land to the walled city they received the water nexus at, from his point he rushed southwards towards the cave on the map that Shadow had drawn.

The entrance to the cave was that of any other, empty hollow and large, the inside room however was gorgeous, the roof was speckled with glow worms it seemed to resemble the night sky, the walls painted with beautiful murals of warriors and mages alike. A memorial alter sat perfectly symmetrical to the entrance on the back wall, oddly enough the entire cave was perfectly symmetrical minus the rivets in the walls.

As it seemed the alter was missing a triangular piece, with an empty center. Gabriel carefully examined his surroundings, a grave was next to the alter and a triangular rock was resting on it, he removed it and placed it on the alter. The walls and ground shook as the wall behind the alter opened up, "Two concealed doors.." Gabriel chuckled.

Behind those two doors, an entire city beautifully illuminated by crystal lanterns and the crystalline walls that surrounded it, civilians walked throughout the streets talking and trading, music was abundant here. As Gabriel walked down the main street towards the large crystal in the center many people stopped to stare, the sound of metal clad boots rushed the area as Gabriel was surrounded by ten armed spear soldiers.

"You'll stop and come with us." They hesitated.

"Sure, but can you lower those spears i'd hate for anyone to get hurt." Gabriel laughed and removed his helmet.

They all looked at his eyes, "He shares the eyes of our people are you one of the lost ancients remnants?" A civilian stared in awe.

"I'm told I am, that of a perfect mix of darkness and light within my soul, an ancient civilization believed to be lost and now as it seems found.." Gabriel smiled, as he walked along side the soldiers towards a large crystal that was hollowed out.
