Still unconscious from being sent through a whirling pool of light that sent them from the darkest point of existence to their own realm Shadow and Gabriel lay in a city made of beautiful marble and other ornate materials. This town, known as Enthrallen was home to some of the wealthiest people, and the most dangerous swordsman yet it was entirely desolate, no noise not even a cricket sounded its call.

When they had awoken they took note of the storm above, and the lack of Terra being with them, it was strange but the storm was formed of a strong purple lightning it was something the likes of which they had never seen and the eye rest ever so gently over the chapel in the distance.

"Wow Gabriel this place is really nice, everything so well made adorned with beautiful decorations" Shadow looked around a bit more before Gabriel replied, " Yea there's even a fountain in the center of town, it seems to be a very nice place but why is it so empty" Shadow quickly stated that it made him uncomfortable. They proceeded down the road to the chapel that rest directly north of the fountain. On the way they found an accessory shop, there was actually someone manning it oddly enough he seemed to be the only person around.

"Hey what would you like?" He said with a shadowy grin.

"Well what do you have?" Gabriel inquired.

"I sell enchanted necklaces and rings, amulets and braces, even gems you can embed into your armor and weapons if you know how to use the magic."

"Is that so?" Shadow Replied.

"What do you have in your possession as of now?" Shadow inquired.

"I have two amulets that bestow upon the user great strength when injured, two rings that increase the healing properties in your blood and two gems each of pure balance towards dark and light." he grinned

"And I also have this magical necklace.. but no one will buy it because of a curse that lingers around it, they say anyone to wear it loses their sanity, the voices in their head consume them as the blood pours from their eyes and from every pore in their body."

"I can understand why they wont buy it than" Gabriel chuckled.

"Yes, there's only one other in the world they where made by the famous silver sage, but when he died there was a curse placed on them and legend has it that only the blood of a titan can remove the curse"

"well what do the necklaces do?" Gabriel asked the shopkeeper coldly.

"They imbue the wearer with a much more powerful connection to their soul, it is said that the silver sage made them for he and his living legacy but when he was killed the hatred that consumed his soul cursed the necklaces."

"Oh?"

"Yes, if you buy everything you can have it for free"

"Well.." Gabriel looked at Shadow

"Meh, what can it hurt, as long as we don't wear them until we slaughter a titan than we should be fine." Shadow replied as he pulled out his coins from his bag.

"The problem is finding a titan" the man chuckled.

"They where undying  and unfathomable creatures that where sealed away a long long time ago." the man chuckled, "But I thank you for your purchase."

"It's no problem" Shadow said as he slipped on his new gear.

"Thanks" Gabriel replied.

"Might I suggest you go to the library before the chapel, if that is in fact where you are headed? From what I can tell your souls are very powerful and you might be able to comprehend a tad more of what the strength of some foes happen to be.
