Shadow and Gabriel awoke the next day, around noon, the blind warrior still snoozed away, the terrain seemed to be changing and warping dramatically quite quickly. Parts of the world started to fade into darkness, a large purple rift appeared in the center of the land ripping and tearing sucking all in that surrounded it. Shadow and Gabriel didn't have enough time to awake instead, they were being pulled across the ground by this ever strong force, "Hey Blind warrior... heyyy.." Gabriel muttered, "Hey!" Shadow yelled. "Wake up, turn this damn thing off... what the hell is it anyways" Gabriel bellowed. The blind warrior lifted his head just as Shadow and Gabriel were consumed by the purple rift. "Damn!" The blind warrior yelled as the rift closed, Leif entered the tower and saw the final seconds of the event. "What the.. What happened here?!" Leif yelled.
"They entered the portal, to the realm of flames, a distant land.."
The blind warrior looked at the ground.
"And how do we get them back!?"
The clear sight of anger flowed around leif.
"Well, no, we can't, it's all up to them now.."
He hung his head lower.
"Sit up, we will wait here patiently.."
"I have to ask them, what they expect as punishment for the partial destruction of the town." Leif looked at the blind warrior who sat speachless, he only thought "What have I done... I have sent them to their doom..." He started rocking back and forth.
"Oi, warrior erhm.. the blind warrior, what are you doing?" Leif glared at him.
"I've just noticed, if you make squares in the right way they make a circle.."
he continued rocking back and forth.
"I know why they sealed you away, you're a mad man." Leif laughed and sat down, "Don't worry I'll accompony you for a while."
Shadow and Gabriel finally managed to wake up entirely, they almost instantly noticed the climatic change, within the temperature and the air quality. It seemed, the air was almost entirely stagnent nearly unbreathable, it was hot, dark, only a small bit of light escaped from the red hot magma that sat in the cracks on the ground.
"What the hell happened?" Shadow stood up, then helped Gabriel up to increase there speed. "Well.. I think the blind warrior might have opened up this rift, or maybe he did it in his sleep? I'm not sure." Gabriel scratched his head.
"How long have we went without helmets?" Gabriel looked around.
"Erhm, a long time I believe, we should really stop forgetting about them." Shadow looked at Gabriel, they laughed.
"First things first though, what are we doing here, why are we here and how do we get back?." Shadow looked around, it was really difficult to see more then ten feet infront of his hands. "It's quite dark here." Gabriel stumbled along the widest crack in the ground, it seemed to be the brightest lightsource they had. Shadow followed behind him, sword in hand, they had to be ready for any threat.
The crack came to an end, two hundred feet away from their starting point, they walked slightly past it yet hit what felt like a rockwall.
Shadow felt an odd amount of warmth from the wall, although it was quite hot, this was considerably hotter. Shadow rubbed his hand across it quickly, it burnt his skin behind his gloves, "mm.. this is scaley.. Gabriel.. step back.." They jumped back quickly, as Shadow thought the object was not a wall it was a beast curled up into a lump. It unraveled itself, and rolled over revealing it's red hot underbelly and it's green eyes that seemed to shine in the dark.
