Shadow and Gabriel stepped out of the barracks, the clouds had begun to fade into a dark grey color, little light managed to escape the sealing crevices. They walked back towords the main square of the town with great haste as they expected it would be dark soon. The pub sat on the right side of the square if one were entering from the entrance of town, generally full of people it was neraly empty just like every other building in the town other then the castle. One man sat inside singing a tune of sadness, "Uhh, Impatient swordsman?" Gabriel was unsure as to what to call him.

"It's Felix, and whaddya want" he slurred his words, "We heard you were once that of divine might, we need your help" Shadow walked over to the bar "why not enjoy the last few hours of our life if theres a possiblitiy of us just dying" He grinned.

"Ahh yoush seen that cloud of shawmg?" "Welshh i am a divine warrior" he sighed. "But my past hash me sitting here drinking my lifehhh awayy" "But i can help yoush if you realls nead it" He slurred more. Gabriel took a seat next to Felix, "Yes, this a matter of the life of everyone in this kingdom."

Felix seemed to have sobred up instantly, "is that the case? Then i suppose you do need this old bag's assistance, but only under one condition."

Shadow finished making the drinks "name it"

"the bar maid, She's the best bar made, but something happeend to a recent shipment of her finest ale, so she wont be able to make the upkeep for her house, nor this bar, she's the only person that matters to me in this world."

Gabriel smiled "done, she'll never have to pay a bill, nor a tax to us again, her house is hers no fee's nor strings attached."

Felix smiled "take your helmets off, i want to see something." Gabriel removed his helmet, Shadow walked over and handed Gabriel his drink and then removed his helm. "You wanted to see something?"

Felix took a long look at the two, "oh, your eyes, a nice lively purple and a soulfilled cobalt blue.. maybe just.. maybe.. hmm" he went off to pondering. "Oh, your hair, is that of a warriors, long, wavey, this shows the heart of courage, that of a warrior and a hero at that." He grinned, "You two could kill a dark wraith, with all that light in your souls, but it's balanced with the darkness in them, it seems you have good intents but something dark seems into your soul, it's odd, but natural, purely nuetral, a shadow indeed."

Gabriel and Shadow were confused yet understood what he ment "the eyes are the portal to the soul, my friends, now get ready"

"By the way Shadow, what is this?" Gabriel asked

"Oh I don't quite know, there's not a name for it, i just mixed alot of stuff together" Shadow replied followed by a laugh.

Gabriel grinned and downed his drink

Felix's eyes had sparked a new flame, he stood up and almost fell over from all of the liqour he had drank that day. "Meet us at the barracks!" Shadow and Gabriel rushed out happily "maybe theres hope for us yet!" Gabriel yelled "there was never hope for "us" in the first place, cause' we're so lost" They chuckled. By the time they got to the barracks they were gasping for air "It seems we've forgotton how heavy this armour is, of course it's double thick reinforced steel overlayed so the weak points are open up front but blocked in the back" Shadow gasped (The small gaps were air is supposed to enter the armour) "Yea, i'll never understand how smithy can make things like this, shouldn't the armour become defective or?" Gabriel asked "Eh, it's Smithy, he doesn't have to explain anything" "like magic" they laughed and took a few moments to catch there breath walked into the barracks. "Lucious! We've got the Impatient swordsman!" They yelled. Lucious stepped out "Well we're is he?"

"He should be stumbling here any time now" Gabriel laughed, "so the old bastard is drunk?" "What kind of idiots crowned you two" Lucious laughed "Well, it's all we have Lucious, no reason to be cruel about it" Shadow spoke sternly, "besides remember, you're talking to the kings here"
