Shadow awoke several hours later, he emitted a large yawn and ordered some food for he and his friends, the sun was setting in the distance. "only six hours of sleep at maximum.." he called down to the elf, "In three hours could you wake us up and bring us some food?" the elf yelled back "yeah." At this point he forced himself back to sleep.
Three hours later, he awoke to see Gabriel and the Blind Warrior still sleeping, the elf was standing in the doorway with their food. "Alrighty here you guys go." he set it down on the tabl and walked out. Shadow woke his friends up and they both yawned, they ate their food and stepped out of the room only to encounter the blonde again. This time she was accompanied by two brutish men, both wielding axes and strange armor that was spiked at the shoulder guard.
"That's issac, take him." she pointed in the Blind Warriors direction.
"Aye." they replied as they approached the Blind Warrior.
They put their hands on his shoulders each one to one, and said "Come along peacefully and we'll have no quarrel."
"Sorry I decline." he replied with a large smile on his face, the one on the left drew his axe and brought the butt down on top of his head, it stopped and hit hard.
"you'll have to hit me harder." he looked at them as blood ran down from his skull.
they smashed his side with the axe casting him away, at this time Shadow slugged the first and pushed the second into Gabriels quick smashing combo. Fists flew, cold and bloody as Gabriel and Shadow quickly beat the two into a bloody pulp, "Stop." the blind warrior stood up laughing.
"You're a liar." he pointed at the blonde, "Your name is Annabelle, and you were my wife a hundred years ago, why you couldn't just talk to me I don't know but you've messed up big time." he laughed like a madman.
"Issac, i've wanted you back since you ventured off to slay your accursed brother, and you never did return, it's not like you'd return to me anyway."
she glared in his general direction, the mercenaries weren't ready to stop the first took the butt of his axe to the Blind Warriors stomach and the other the head of it to his back. Blood ran all over the hallway as they beat him around ruthlessly, until Shadow and Gabriel ended up enraged.
They too, joined the brawl leaving the mercenaries unconscious, "I told you to stop.." he looked around 'We don't care." Gabriel glared at him, he was bloody cut open wide, clearly the wounds were deep.
"You're right at this point I wouldn't return to you because you just tried to have me apprehended by two brutish men who knew nothing of me, you're not my wife not any longer, you're just an immature girl."
"how you lived these hundred years, I know not, but do not bother me with the sight of your retched being any longer." he bellowed at her, she collapsed to her knees and started crying.
"I did all of this for you.." she sobbed.
"You tried to have me killed, heh." he stumbled down the stairs.
"You might have loved him but you clearly went about that the wrong way, you could have just talked it out." Gabriel looked at her, she cried while on her knees at the end of the hallway.
"But I love Issac, you impudent fools.. I don't understand how he could even forget his name.." she sobbed.
"He's been locked up for a long time, in a dark room with no contact with any sort of people or beast magical or not." Shadow replied.
"Next time, try harder not to try to take him by force." Gabriel tossed some coins at her "Get this cleaned up, and make sure those mercenaries are disposed of or they will come for your life." he said as they walked down the stairs.
