Chapter 20: The Dark World

Shadow, Issac and Gabriel rushed up to the world above the castle, they crawled onto the dirt all exhausted yet their pursuer was right behind them.

Thaddious exploded from the water, glowing in the hideous aura of half a million souls if not more, laughing maniacally as he floated in the sky looking down at the three like a bird to it's prey he bellowed out, "What has this old man been feeding you insolent fools?"

Although they seemed foolish, the words struck deep in Shadow and Gabriels heart.

"Did he not tell you, that in the end you sacrafice your power to him? All of your might? So he may fight me?" Thaddious laughed heavily.

"Issac.." Shadow looked at Issac who was shaking vigerously.

"I didn't want you to know, until you needed to... the world is at stake here.." a tear rolled from Issacs eye.

"You could have told us, we would have understood." Gabriel bellowed.

"I care not for such trifle things, I'm certainly strong enough now to take care of you two." Thaddious looked down at them his eye twitched.

"Dark rift, infernal gate to oblivion, Paradox open!" He held his hands to the sky, a black ring formed around them as the darkness flowed from the surrounding areas, from peoples hearts and even the corners of the unlit rooms.. into the ring it flowed writhing around like a snake.

"No.." Issac looked up at his brother, casting a forbidden magic lost in history.

"This means, Neither of us have to kill eachother Issac.." "Hahahahahah!" Thaddious smiled as a tear rolled down his face.

"We can rebuild the world, and bring mommy and daddy back." He chuckled as more tears rolled down his face.

The rift opened wide, the darkness crept down grasping Shadow and Gabriel in a seconds time they were cast into the rift without any knowledge of were they were going.

Everything was horrifically dark in the rift, not the sort of darkness you see without a light, just pure darkness something you could never imagine. They endured it, until they came to an opening in the rift were they both fell unconcious in the new world they had entered.

"Brother, what're you doing.. neither of us had to die you just should have stopped you babbling fool.." Issac grunted.

Thaddious grinned ear to ear as his eye twitched, "Dont you understand this world is old, it needs brought down and built a-new."

"And with you in the way you pitiful fool, I'll never accomplish the goal of bringing mommy and daddy back, why dont you want them back!?" He bellowed.

"I want them back more then anything, but the ammount of bloodhsed you must use to even consider bringing their tortured souls back to this realm, is just unnessisary, what if you fail the magic? then everything was for naught!" Issac bellowed, he vanished into the silvery mist and re-appered behind thaddious kicking him with all his might to the ground.

Issac lifted his hands to the sky, in two seconds flat a silver ring of magic appeared above him "Sixth path, silver sage magic, the lost arc!" The silver magic exploaded in the sky ripping the clouds and earth apart under him.

"I will finally banish you from this realm Thaddious!" Issac screamed as a tear rolled from his cheek.

"You cost me my life, my friends, everything you selfish pitiful bastard!" Issac grunted as Thaddious stood up, steam rolled from his flesh.

"I care not for you." Thaddious's mood changed quickly into that of a serious warrior.

"Shut up you stupid vessle." Issac raised his finger at Thaddious and a ray of silver light shot from it into Thaddious's chest burning clean through.
