Shadow drew the Lyrical Runic Symbol of life, and formed a single flower with his magic.. Gabriel just looked at him "you already learned how to do it?.." He was unsure what to think honestly.
"It's really easy once you try it.." Shadow smiled
"Yeah that's why I wouldn't teach you it, because I wasn't sure how willingly you'd use it, you could very well rupture the fabric of time if you felt it was necessary." The blind warrior just stared into Shadows eyes, "But, now that I see you have grown a bit more... intellectually, since we last met, well I won't mind giving you a few lessons." The flower, opened up, curled into a green ball and melted into the dirt.
"What the...?" Shadow looked at the door, the cracks turned green as it cracked and fell apart, the air inside was thick, and green.
"Toxic smog.. hold your breath, or die a slow and painful death~" The blind warrior walked in with a pepp in his step, without even plugging his nose or holding his breath.
"It seems he doesn't care." Saria chuckled, they followed him in, the cavern itself was dimly illuminated by crystals that lined the place. There were coffins also, that lined the walls.
"Welcome, to the Cave, or as most used to know it as, the Kingdom of Plagues, the spawn of disease, and poison, and as we know it, the plague itself." The blind warrior smiled, "No worries, only some of the strongest creatures known to man reside here." He opened up the door in front of them, the sarcophagus's opened wide, three skeletons hopped out. Shadow quickly dropped one, X the other and the Blind warrior simply kicked one in the head.
They ventured down a long hallway, it seemed short but long at the same time, the walk was short in time, but the hallway appeared to be far longer then it was. Possibly because of the way it was illuminated by the uneven unsymmetrical crystals.
"Was that sarcasm, by the way?" Gabriel asked the Blind warrior, "No, I meant it, there are some mighty creatures here, and if they breath the wrong way this whole place will go up in a fiery cataclysm." He responded in a relaxed voice, "Good thing, there's four of us, and hopefully not five or six of them at once." He laughed, they opened up the next door, and within it lay a large area, massive in fact. And the entire group, understood what he meant by strong, green drakes asleep, scattered about, noxious gas in the air, probably combustible, deadly.
"We should take care of this quickly." The blind warrior vanished and re-appeared next to one of the drakes, slit it's stomach open and jammed it's blade down the beasts back destroying it's spine. It didn't have time to even wake up let alone respond.
He disappeared and re-appeared near the party, "Now, lets go, we need to get rid of them efficiently, and quickly, otherwise we're going to have a shit fest going on."
They dispersed, Shadow and Gabriel, not yet attuned to teleportation had to sneak up on their kills, but they killed two drakes a piece before the Blind warrior and Saria had killed the rest.
"Okay, are we safe?.." Shadow asked, after the deed was one.
"Probably not, we still have the plague to deal with." The blind warrior walked past all of the dead drakes, "This is a short page of the story of our lives, lets live it quickly." he had spoke such a deep metaphor that everyone felt it.
In the distance, a low roar was heard, outside of the cave of plagues of course.
"I can't tell if that was Djevara, or the elder wyrm.." The blind warrior muttered to himself.
"what?.." Shadow looked at him, "Oh.. nothing, no worries, lets just get through this room up ahead, I feel as if we wont be here too long." He sped up his gate, and they quickly exited the large room, and entered a smaller room. Coffins lined the area once again, but green water flowed in lines between them, the room was perfectly clear of toxic smog other then the irradiated water that ran through it.
