Chapter 9 Cherry blossoms

Nina POV

It had been a few days since my birthday and now Louie also knows the story about how we're related.

At first he was happy we were real family then a bit sad about how he didn't know our parents left him or what really happened but he's cheered up since then and he's back to the big brother I call onii chan.

We were sat in the dining room deciding what to do for dinner.

Ukyo had just gotten back from a case and hadn't had time to get shopping.

"I don't think we can make anything unless I run to the store." Ema said getting up.

"It's fine its just us anyway." Tsubaki said stopping her.

(Tsubaki, Azusa, me, Louie, Wateru, Masiomi, Ema and Hikaru).

Ukyo was too sleepy, Kaname was at the temple thing, Natsume was being Natsume, Suberu and Lori had late classes and were taking care of food themselves. Yusuke was sleeping and Fuuto had a late recording session)

"Why not eat out then? Or better yet a picnic?" Azusa suggested.

"YAY CHERRY BLOSSOMS!"Wateru started yelling.

I covered my ears and looked at Louie.

"Wateru calm down, we can go to the cherry blossoms but only if you calm down." Masiomi explained.

"Okay Masa-Nii" Wateru smiled.

We all walked to the cherry blossoms and set up.

We walked there because it wasn't far and we had bought some pre-made stuff on the way.

We all sat around the food eating together and talking.

Me and Louie talked together me in sign until I got board talking in sign.

I grabbed his hand and pulled him over to the side where you could see the lake that way I could actually talk.

"Wow Nii it's a nice view here isn't it?" He asked looking over the lake.

The sun was setting over the lake and the falling cherry blossoms made it a beautiful sight.

"I'm glad we're watching this together sis." he smiled.

"Me too big bro, Louie was it hard coping with being adopted?" I asked looking at him.

"Of course it was but my family loved me and sure it was hard seeing such a big family of brothers that were all related but I always knew, Miwa Asahina is my mother and her sons are my brothers, and now I have my real sister too, and know this Nii I love you, your my sister and I cared for you even before I knew we were related and so did you, it's just a matter of not we have both the love and blood of a real family." he smiled after him speech and pet me.

"WATCH OUT!" We heard some yelling.

We looked and we saw a roller blade rider was coming straight for us I felt myself get pushed aside and Louie got hit and fell strait back, over the bar and into the lake.

The blader was able to steady himself on the bar but I saw Louie coming up from the water shortly after.

The brothers that were there and Ema rushed over and saw him sitting in the lake completely soaked.

"LOUIE!" Ema shouted when she saw him.

"I'm okay Nii, just a little wet." he said putting on a small smile.

"You'll get a cold at this rate!" Hikaru chuckled putting out a hand.

Louie slowly was pulled out of the pond and was sat with a tiny cloth trying to dry off at least a little.
