Chapter 45 A Gift

Louie POV

I sat up in bed and sighed

"I wish Nina was here...it was nice of Cat to have helped me look for her but I knew we wouldn't find her...it was still nice though" I smiled

"Well, I have to go do Fuu-Kun's hair and then I have work and then I have it send a letter to Nii-chan to make sure she's okay...I hope she is" I sighed

I looked and saw I was still in my clothes

'I fell asleep on the couch next to Lori...'

I sighed and changed into a clean set of clothes putting the other set in my wash basket

I opened the door but the doorway was pitch black

I checked my phone and the time was 7:56

'Normally Ukyo's up and has the lights on by now'

I walked downstairs using my phone as a flashlight and saw Ukyo working on the fuse box with a torch

"Hey Ukyo what happened?" I asked walking next to him

"The fuse went on two of the three floors we have so everyone is on the lounge floor while I try to fix the fuse" Ukyo sighed

"Okay, should I head down there?" I asked

"Preferably, but if you could just move the flashlight to the left before you go" Ukyo sighed

I moved the small flashlight to the left and I started walking down the stairs

I got to the lounge floor and saw it was empty

"Where is everyone?" I sighed looking around

"SURPRISE!"

I looked around as all the brothers appeared

I nearly fell back but Kaname caught my shoulders

"What's all this?" I stared

"You seemed a bit down so we all decided to make a small party for you" Ukyo smiled

"You didn't have to" I blushed

"Look at you, you've been worried sick about Nina and yet you can't take a minute to enjoy yourself" Wateru smiled

"Besides you should be happy i'm even here" Fuuto scoffed but I knew he wanted to be here all along

"We got a few small presents for you" Ema giggled pushing me to sit down

"But what about the power cut?" I asked

"You should have figured out it was fake by now, now open the gifts!" Tsubaki wined

"Give him a minute Tsubaki, let him process everything" Azusa laughed

Masaomi and Hikaru handed me a small box and smiled

"Go ahead you deserve it" Hikaru chuckled

I opened it hesitantly and saw exactly what it was and quickly shut the box

"I um...you know I don't" I blushed

"We can have some later though" Hikaru laughed

"His idea and it's not strong" Masaomi chuckled laying the box aside

"Here ya go" Kaname smiled giving me a small scented candle

"It's lovely" I smiled smelling the soft lavender

"Prezzie" Tsubaki said sneaking a disk into my lap

"Shouden maid? What's this?" I smiled

"Is about a little boy who's mother died and he found his long lost uncle who took him in but he always keeps a saying close to his heart, 'those who do not work shall not eat' so he cleans the house" Azusa explained
