Chapter 41 Grief

Louie POV

I miss Nina so much already, she's gone and she may not come back

Nina is strong as anything but it won't help at all if she gets caught and found out

I sat on the couch trying to let it sink in and it wasn't helping

"Louie, dinners is ready" Masaomi called out to me

I didn't feel hungry so I didn't respond

Masaomi walked over to me and I couldn't help but look away

"Louie, hiding away isn't going to make Nina come back" Masaomi frowned

I didn't say anything but I didn't want to believe Nina was gone

She can't be gone, she's coming back

She has to...

Masaomi POV

I was with Ukyo and when Ukyo finished cooking he told me to fetch the brothers

I got them all and decided to get Louie last

"Louie, dinner is ready" I called from the stairs

Louie was sat on the couch facing the floor in silence

"Louie, hiding away isn't going to make Nina come back" I frowned

I walked over to him and saw him shake slightly

"Louie..." I sighed

I patted Louie's shoulder and he started to sob quietly

"She has to come back...I'm going to wake up tomorrow and she's going to come back!" Louie sobbed

"Louie" I frowned

"She has to, she would never do this, she's going to come back tomorrow and she never will have to do anything with the gang again" louie said starting to lie to himself

"Louie...your lying to yourself" I sighed shaking Louie's shoulders

Louie looked up to me with teary eyes

"Masaomi....when will Nina come back?" Louie asked griping my arm

"She'll come back soon, she's just going for a little while" I smiled weakly

"I......I see..." Louie sighed

"Come one, let's get you something to eat" I smiled

Me and Louie walked to the dining room and sat at our places

The entire time everyone talked except Louie who didn't talk or really eat much

"Ema, Yusuke how's school?" Ukyo smiled

"Yeah it's good" Yusuke grumbled

"It's really good, the culture festivals coming up, our class is doing a cafe and salon type thing" Ema smiled

"Yeah" Yusuke grumbled

"Hey Louie, since it's a salon would you like to come? Maybe help me out with practice?" Ema smiled

Louie smiled and nodded before going back to picking at his food

"Is something wrong Louie?" Ema asked

"I'm fine Chii" Louie smiled weakly

"Okay something is wrong, Louie what's wrong!" Fuuto snapped tossing his fork back on his plate and leaning back in his chair

"It's nothing Fuuto" Louie smiled

"Don't lie Louie, I know when your sad because your never sad" Fuuto said in a mildly aggressive tone
