Chapter 39 WIB

Nina POV

Today was all going wrong,

It's like fate had it out for me and Coni

The day started when Coni woke up and came over to my room

The two of us just had a bad feeling about today, it's like we just knew

We went out and left Coni's wheelchair inside because it wasn't hurting him anymore but that was a mistake

We walked around the cherry blossom tree when a branch fell on Coni

It wasn't a huge one but it hit Coni's weak spot on his neck making Coni fall to the floor

I grabbed the branch and tossed it aside and tried to help Coni up

At the time Coni could hardly stand and I had to carry him inside

I got him to the couch and checked his wounds for any that may have reopened

Luckily none had opened but it was enough to tire Coni out rather quickly and we decided to relax

I walked to the kitchen and grabbed some hot water to make tea

I carried the hot tea on the tray but something tripped me up and I fell

May-run (gray butler style)

And it spilled all over Coni

Coni shot up soaked in the hot liquid and bit his lip to stop him from screaming

I stood up and gasped at the damage

"It's soaking my bandages!" Coni started freaking out

I grabbed a cloth and tried to dry his shirt but just caused more pain by applying pressure to his still healing wound

Coni had to toss off his blazer witch was soaked in the hot liquid because it was soaking his shirt and by extent his bandages

Coni shouted in pain when the heat finally reached his wound and I couldn't do anything

Coni kneeled down to try and stop the pain

Masiomi ran down and saw the situation and rushed over to Coni

"What's wrong?!" Masiomi asked frantically

"The tea...it's soaking the bandaged wound" Coni said pained

Masiomi pulled Coni to his feet and lead him away

"Breath in and out, in and out, lets go sort this out" Masiomi couched

I let Masiomi take Coni and I started cleaning up the spilled tea but I saw something that caught my eye

A ring

i couldn't help but notice the engravings

"WIB?...Woman in Black" I growled

I picked up the ring and felt pure anger

She was Coni's mother and she was hurting me and Coni! How could she!" I cried

I wanted to hurt her for doing this

I threw the ring as far as I could and started to cry

"How could she..."

"What's wrong?" Hikaru asked appearing

"THAT BAKA" I snapped

"Hey what's wrong?" Hikari asked gripping my shoulders

"THAT BAKA WIB IS GOING TO KILL ME ONE OF THESE DAYS" I snapped again
