Chapter 43 what can i do?

Ukyo POV

I finished up breakfast and put it down at the table

Everyone was eating at the normal pace  other then Louie who was being a bit slow

"How is everyone doing then?" I smiled sitting down

Everyone said they were fine but I could hear Louie mumbling

"Louie, are you mumbling something?" Masaomi asked

"Its nothing" Louie mumbled slightly louder

"What on earth are you mumbling?" Hikaru smirked

"It's nothing" Louie mumbled

"Let's just leave that there, let's just get to eating, we should all be leaving for work soon" Masaomi said quickly avoiding the conversation

Everyone finished up and went separate ways

I cleaned up and went down to the lounge to look over my case files and saw Louie laid on the couch

"Are you not going to work Louie?" I asked

Louie didn't say anything bit I didn't think he was planning to

"Are you still upset?" I asked

Louie nodded and sat up

"I've been thinking about how if maybe I hadn't let Nina leave maybe she wouldn't be able to get hurt..Maybe if I go to the camp I can make them bring her home, if I do will they let me take her home?" Louie asked pleadingly

"What?" I mumbled

"If I go to the camp and ask do you think they will let me take Nina home?" Louie repeated

"Louie I'm not sure-" "Ukyo...why did they take her?" Louie pleaded cutting me off standing up

"...She said that they wanted her Ni? I'm sure she will get back soon" I smiled standing next to Louie

Louie frowned and nodded

"When do you think she will get back?" Louie asked

"Well, the way she described the camp it may be like a school year...so 12 months, no breaks because of how serious this whole thing is and I'm assuming she will beat WIB-" "MIB" "MIB right...she will beat MIB and get back to us and it's been about 2 weeks so she will get back in...50 weeks" I sighed

"R-really? *sigh* I hope she will be okay" Louie said with a catching in his voice

"She will be okay I'm sure" I said quickly

"But she.....will she be okay?" Louie asked in a pleading manner

"Yes she will" I said confidently

".....okay" Louie mumbled walking away

"Louie one more thing!" I called out

"Yes?" Louie said glancing over at me

"You can visit her at the camp, there's a cross section there" I smiled

"Really?" Louie smiled

"Yeah, by legal law they would have to and I'm sure that her friends will know where the camp is" I smiled

"THANK YOU! I'll be back in a bit" Louie said rushing off
