Chapter 10 Sick Onii

Louie POV

I woke up with a headache.

"Ow." I mumbled sitting up.

I felt like I was boiling hot but also freezing cold.

I ignored it and got dressed.

I looked in the mirror and I had a small flush evident on my face.

"I hope Nii doesn't notice." I mumbled.

I came out my room and looked for any signs of brothers or tiny sisters.

I wasn't hungry so I decided I'd take a long walk to my work at the hair salon.

"I'm off to work." I said walking out the door.

I was relived no one saw me.

I walked to the hair salon and saw my boss called Phonis who we call Pho.

"Hello Louie." Pho said seeing me walk in.

I smiled and waved.

"Are you feeling okay Louie? You look a bit more flushed then normal." she said looking at me.

"No I'm fine." I said smiling. "Who am I working on today?" I asked looking for the schedule.

"Mary will be here shortly and then later we have Cici and then Ella." Pho said.

I nodded and set up my hair post.

Putting my products away and getting my curler and straighteners ready.

Mary was a 23 year old friend of mine who had mid length black hair and pale skin.

Mary walked in and walked over.
"Hello Lo how are you?" She said with her normal smile.

I turned to her and smiled "very well and you?" I asked pulling out the chair.

"I'm well but you don't look well, your face is a bit flushed? Are you not feeling well?" She asked her normal questioning way.

"I'm fine don't worry about me *cough* just a cold at worse." I said my voice fading a bit.

"Okay." she said sitting down.

I pushed her chair and asked.
"What would you like today Rey?" "The normal, trim and curl please." she said relaxing back into the chair.

"One trim and curl coming right up- *cough cough cough cough*" I went to start but I went into a coughing fit.

"You don't look well Louie." Mary said standing up and patting my back while I coughed into my hand.

I calmed down and stood strait again "sorry I'm fine..." I said motioning for her to sit down.

"I don't know if I believe that Louie, maybe you should go home and get some rest." she suggested.

"I'm fine it's just a cold." I protested.

"Okay fine, so stubborn, if you think you need to stop and rest then do it, I may just be a client but I care about you Louie." Mary said sitting down.

I did her hair as she asked with a small trim and curling.

"Thank you Louie, now listen when I come here next time you better be 100% better." Mary said getting up and scolding me.

"I will." I said I smiled as she walked out after paying my boss.

One down two to go.

Next was Cici.

She was a child or about nine
Short blond hair and pale skin.

Cici walked in with her mother and they walked over.
