Nina POV
Today I was board, I had nothing to do for today
I found Masiomi in his lab coat setting up his bag
"Hello Nina" he smiled
"What is doing?" I asked looking at his bag
"Getting my stuff for work, say since your not going to school till the trouble with the bullies is sorted out would you like to come with me to work today and be my helper" he said with a closed eye smile
"Okay, let's go" I said helping him grab his stuff
"One sec, Ukyo i'm taking Nina with me today!" Masiomi shouted to Ukyo as we walked out the door
We went to the hospital and walked to the front desk
"Hello Mr Asahina, here's your schedule" a tiny nurse jumped and handed Masiomi the schedule "you really are too cute Niko, you need to be taller" Masiomi laughed looking at the schedule
"Okay cmon Nina, les get to the room I work in" Masiomi said taking my hand and we walked into the room
We sat and waited for the first client
"Hello Masaiomi" a nurse said walking in with a child around 5 years old
"Onii gives me check ups!" The boy chanted
"Yes I will sit down, This is my little sister Nina, will you say hello to her" Masiomi said to the child pointing to me
"Hello Nina!" The boy hugged me tightly
I just waved and smiled
"Does she not talk?" The boy asked
"Not really but she is very nice, now sit down so Onii can give you a checkup" Masiomi Chuckled
The boy sat on the chair and Masiomi gave him his checkup
"Your very good aren't you" he gave him a lolly pop and smiled "bye bye Onii!" The boy hugged Masiomi and ran out the door to the Nurse that brought him
We were doing that routine the whole time other then when a boy came in with a small cut and Masiomi collapsed after the child had left the room
Masiomi and I were sat on lunch break and eating the small lunches we brought
"Your a pretty good helper Nina, you may not think your doing much but all the kids were looking at you so that has made my job a little easier" Masiomi smiled
"That's good" I said softly
"Well then let's get back to work, my nurses had said that o have one more child, a quick check on a long time patient and then assuming all is well, we can head home" Masiomi smiled standing up
"Okay let's go" I smiled as we returned to the room
The child was a little girl who had a cold
She was a quick one, Masiomi just gave her a small toy and told her to get some rest and she was on her way
Then we had to go see the long time patient who was bed ridden
"Hello Okume, how are you feeling" Masiomi said when we walked into the room
The patient smiled and waved from the bed
The patient looked at me and smiled "he-lo...who are-..you?" They asked slowly
"I'm Nina, you must be the long time patient, it's nice to see that my Brother is making someone smile" I said happily
"Hai...your very pretty" the patient said with a closed eye smile
"I see your talking now? Nina your boosting her progress, now then-" Masiomi was cut off by someone yelling
"MR ASAHINA THERES A PATIENT THAT NEEDS YOUR HELP NOW" a nurse came yelling into the room
"What's wrong?" Masiomi asked
"We found a boy, age 16, he was on the streets and he isn't moving, two of his friends said his name was Coni!" The nurse dragged Masiomi out the door and I stood in shock
"C..Coni..."
