Chapter 31 Date?!

Nina POV

It's been a few weeks now and Coni finally asked me out and was taking me out today

I got dressed up nicely and waited on the couch for Coni to come, we weren't going anywhere special, just a cherry blossom park but Coni was late

I didn't put it past him, he lived on the streets other then the occasional sleepover out of pity from the brothers not to mention how he can literally be attacked at any time

I waited but got nothing, no call, message, anything

I waited on the couch for Coni but he still wasn't here and I was getting worried

"It's rude to keep a lady waiting is it not?" Hikaru appeared and walked over to me

"Where is Coni..." I sighed

"I don't know, hopefully he will arrive safe and sound" Hikaru smiled weakly and put an arm over my shoulder

"Cmon, smile, I don't want to look like a perv now do I? Hugging my 14 year old sister" Hikaru chuckled

I smiled and looked up at him

"Yeah your right, Coni is no idiot, he can take care of himself" I said determinedly

I watched Hikaru stand up and walk off to do his work and it was back to the waiting game

One hour later, and he was late by two hours now

I sat on the couch worried sick

"Nina? What are you waiting for?" Louie walked over and sat next to me

"Coni was going to come see me today..." I said trying not to sound sad

I started to feel tears in my eyes and Louie hugged me

"Calm down, how long have you been waiting?" Louie asked calmly

I burst into sobs "2 hours! He's late! Does he not care about me?! If he does then is he hurt? I don't want to lose him!" I cried into Louie's arms

"I'm sure he loves you Nina, don't worry he will come" Louie tried to reassure me

I just cried until I heard a thump

I jolted up and listed as I heard it again

It was coming from outside

I walked to the outside balcony on that floor and looked around

I saw Coni on the ground floor getting pushed around by...FUUTO?!

Coni was in black clothes, his eye patch and there were flowers on the floor, calla Lily's "beauty"

I couldn't believe that Fuuto was attacking Coni

"CONI" i called out over the balcony

I went to climb off the balcony but Louie held me back

"Nina you'll get hurt" Louie frowned and pulled me back

"But Coni!" I cried

I pushed Louie off of me and ran to the elevator

I got to the ground floor and ran out

I looked around and saw Coni with his eye mask off, his bad eye was wincing and he was leaning on a wall but no one was around

"CONI" I ran over to him and lowered him to the floor

"What happens?!" I sobbed grabbing his eye cover from the floor and dusting it off
