Chapter 24 Calming down

Louie POV

I got back home and found out about Nina being upset over something to do with her gang friends

I went to her new room and walked inside

Ukyo told me she was sleeping so I wanted to see if she was sleeping peacefully

She's my sister, I care about her

I looked at the bed and saw Nina sleeping but she didn't look happy

She had a pained face on her and she was shaking slightly

"Nina?" Was she cold? I don't think so

I knew she wasn't cold when her shaking turned into her thrashing violently

She swung her arms around and she was sobbing in her sleep

"Nina!" I restrained her until she was just shaking

I shook her to wake her and she jolted up just missing my head

"CONI" she sobbed as she woke up

"Nina it's okay, you were having a bad dream, calm down" I said calmly hugging her

"Onii...Coni..I think he's been lying to me" she looked shaken up

"Okay, just relax, I'm right here, tell me what's happening" I said stroking her head

"Okay..." she took a deep breath "I went to see Coni in hospital but Yaza and Aoi were all dazy and Yaza told me to see Coni but when I got to the door I heard a voice asking Coni if he would tell "her" and he said he wouldn't. He also called Coni, Cikomi but..when I went to Coni he.." she covered her lips and sobbed

"He kissed me...why would he do that when he's lying to me...Yaza and Aoi came in and yelled at me to go out, Yaza just kept yelling...I just walked away and I just.." she went silent

I hugged her and she squeezed me

"I'm sorry...your always taking care of me...even just before and after your birthday, we've both gone though so much and I..i" she sobbed

"Nina, I'm sorry you think your a burden, but I care about you, now calm down, let's go for a walk, a boat ride, that always calmed me and Ema down" I smiled weakly

Nina nodded and we both stood up

I picked her up and let her rest her head on my shoulder until we got to the park

I walked us both there in silence

We got to the boat and we went out on the lake

"Louie..." Nina called out to me

"Yes Nina, what is it?" I smiled

"I love you...what do you think I should do, I care about Coni but if he's lying to me then..." Nina trailed off
"I don't know but I think that if he really cares about you, he will come back for you, if he cares about you in truth, he will be there for you" I smiled and hugged her

She squeezed me tightly and cried into my shoulder

"Shh, calm down" I knew that this was hard for her, I just hope this would be comforting her in some way

"Let's go back home, back to the condo, then we can be with our family, they will always be there for us" I hugged her

Nina nodded and pulled away and I towed us back to shore

We got back and we sat on a bench

I looked at Nina and she sat quietly
I looked and saw Juli in the distance

"LOUIE HOWS CHII" he was yelling for me

I smiled

"How have those wolfs been, huh who's this?" Juli jumped on my shoulder and looked at Nina

"I'm Nina, who are you squirrel?" Nina asked

"I'm Juli, protector of Chii, Louie we need to protect this little girl too from the wolfs don't we?!" Juli looked at me and I nodded

"Where have you been Juli?" I asked remembering he's been missing for quite a while

"At first I had food poisoning then I went to a vet and they just let me out earlier" Juli explained

I nodded and smiled

Juli sat with Nina and smiled "don't worry Little Chii, I'll protect you from those horn dogs!" Juli said looking determined

Nina smiled and pet Juli

"Let's go home...I'm tired" Nina smiled at me

I nodded and juli jumped on Nina's shoulder

I picked up Nina and we walked back to the condo

We walked inside and sat on the couch

"Nina? Louie you got her up?" Ukyo asked surprised when he saw us

"Yea we had some calming down time, we found Juli too" I said pointing to Juli

"Onii chan, I want to sleep" Nina said tugging on my sleeve

I smiled and stood up "okay Nii" I smiled
"You call little Chii Nii? That sounds acceptable" Juli jumped onto my shoulder

Nina stood up and took my hand

"Well then, I'll see you two soon, have a nice nap" Ukyo smiled and waved.

I nodded, me and Nina walked up the stairs and headed for her room.

We got to her room and I finally got a good look around

Nina yawned and sat on her bed

I smiled and looked at her sleepy face

Nina pulled away the covers and hugged a pillow

I tucked her in and smiled

"Have a nice sleep Nii, I hope you sleep well" I said as Juli jumped to her pillow and laid next to her

I smiled one more time and shut the door quietly as Nina fell asleep

I walked into my own room and laid in my bed

I thought about Nina like how I normally did at night but then I thought of Coni

Was he really lying to her? Why would he? That name Cikomi? Why would he have two names

I hope Nina doesn't get hurt
And worse yet, the brothers are all hurt because she could be hurt

I ended up thinking alot but slept eventually
