Chapter 48

So i'm on my way to my lawyers office to talk to her about the situation with Druu, I decided to have Langston come with me because he low-key has something to do with it. Like as far as why things got to where they are or whatever. Anyway after this I have a photoshoot to do so i'm pretty excited for that it has been awhile since i've done a photoshoot.

Langston: "You ready?" He asked parking the car

Me: "I just wanna do it and get it over with." I said looking out the window

Langston: "Alright well lets go."

We both got out the car and walked to the building, I let them know who I was meeting and they walked us to her office.

Charlene: "Hey guys." She said getting up from her desk

Me: "Hey." I said giving her a hug

Langston: "What's up." He said giving her a hug as well

Charlene: "Have a seat"

We sat down and Charlene grabbed a note pad.

Charlene: "Okay so start from the beginning and work your way up to what just happened."

Me: "It all started when me and Langston got back together and he went on tour. While he was on tour I found out that I was pregnant and that he cheated on me with Druu. There were some complications with the pregnancy and I lost the baby, a few months later we found out that Druu was pregnant; when I found that out me and Langston broke up."

Charlene nodded her head as she continued to jot down notes

Me: "Fast forward to her having the baby."

Charlene: "When did she have the baby?"

Me: "September fifteenth"

Charlene: "Okay keep going"

Me: "When she had the baby she would rarely let Langston see her. Me and Langston ended up getting back together and when Druu found that out she started popping up talking about putting him on child support, then she started asking for large amounts of money. Langston soon found out Druu had a new boyfriend and was doing drugs."

Charlene: "What kind of drugs?"

Langston: "Cocaine. And her boyfriend was beating her."

She nodded her head and wrote it down

Me: "Me and Langston went to his lawyer to get full custody of Amiyah, they sent cps to Druu's house to check out everything and they weren't there, they sent out papers in the mail letting her know we had a court date set to give him full custody but her mail box was still full, so we ended up filing a missing persons report. About two or three weeks went by and we never heard back from Druu until one day Langston got a call from her-"

Langston: "She wasn't really telling me much. She wouldn't tell me where she was, and how she didn't wanna have our daughter in the situation, and then she started going off on how she didn't want Tania around Amiyah."

Me: "Come to find out Druu was in Atlanta."

Charlene: "And how did you guys find this out?"

Langston: "I got a call from a hospital out there saying she had been shot and she used my number as one of her emergency contacts."

Charlene: "And what was the name if this hospital."

Me: "Ummm." I said trying to remember "Was it Atlanta hospital, or no."

Langston: "Piedmont Atlanta Hospital."

Charlene: "Okay." She said nodding her head

Me: "So me and Langston flew out to Atlanta with his lawyer. When we got there she told us that her boyfriend was my ex Nick. And how he had gotten her on drugs real bad and was making her ask Langston for ten thousand dollars for more drugs. She said that whenever she would refuse Nick would beat her and dope her up as well as rape her. I guess it was Nicks plan to take then to Atlanta because if Langston really wanted Amiyah he would give her the money but she said no, so they started tussling over the gun and she got shot."

Charlene: "Oh wow okay."

Me: "Long story short Langston got full custody of Amiyah and Druu went to rehab. While she was in rehab she never called to check on Amiyah or nothing so we just went on with everything. A few years later Druu popped up saying she wanted to be back in Amiyah's life."

Langston: "I wasn't really going for it, but Tania talked me into letting her come around but only if she apologized to me for everything."

Me: "Druu wouldn't apologize and Langston still wouldn't let her come around. So Druu basically gave up and stopped calling and coming around. Now fast forward to what happened recently. Druu once again popped up at Amiyah's school telling her she was her real mother, now we hadn't told her yet because I wasn't ready."

Langston: "So Amiyah took it upon herself to invite Druu to Sunday dinner."

Charlene: "And that's when the fight broke out."

Langston: "Basically."

Me: "Amiyah wanted to know why Druu had never came around. Druu lied and said we wouldn't let her see Amiyah which wasn't true all she had to do was apologize but she couldn't do that. Anyway So Langston and I started explaining to Amiyah why Druu had never came around and the whole time Druu was laughing."

I pause a while and ask for a water bottle. She handed both me and Langston a water bottle, I took a sip and continued with the story."

Me: "So I asked her what was funny, she started apologizing and said she wasn't ready for a kid at the time but now she want's Amiyah to be in her life. To make a long story short Amiyah said she didn't want Druu to be around her and Druu said she didn't wanna Amiyah in her life anyway because she needed money and she wanted to put Amiyah on the street to make money for her."

Langston: "That's when all hell broke loose. Tania threw a drink at Druu and both Tydajah and Tania started beating Druu up, so I told all the kids to go upstairs. I saw Tania look at the half empty bottle of wine on the table so I got up and started walking towards her and as I suspected Tania grabbed the bottle and was about to break it over her head, but I grabbed her and she dropped the bottle."

Me: "When I dropped the bottle it kind of landed on Druu's stomach so Tydajah grabbed the bottle and cracked it over her head."

Charlene: "Wow this is a lot." She said shaking her head

Langston: "Me and the guys separated the girls so they could cool off. One of the neighbors called the cops and that's pretty much why we're here now."

Charlene: "So Tania you didn't really do anything."

Me: "Nah I did something, but I personally don't think I should get time for it. Especially since Druu did so much stuff and hasn't gotten time for it."

Charlene: "Okay. Well due to all the things you guys have told me I can definitely get the charges dropped, because she has harassed you guys, kidnapped your child, and threatened the safety of your child. So don't worry you're fine."

Me: "Okay thank you."

We shook hands and left.

I knew I wasn't trippin' all the shit she did and ain't been put in jail for it. But now I just gotta wait to get this court date.
