So Devon invited me to his house for dinner to meet his mom. Not even gonna lie I was really nervous when he brought the idea to me hell I still am nervous. My mind is filled with what if's (What if his mom doesn't like me and what if I mess things up tonight) It's making my stomach turn and I don't know how I feel about this.
Tania: "YahYah stop fuckin' shaking, you makin' me nervous." She said as irritation filled her voice
I had my mom do my makeup because since i'm so nervous my hand kept shaking so asked her to do it.
Me: "Sorry mom. I can't help it" I said with my eyes closed
Tania: "You must really like this boy"
Me: "Yeah. He's so cute and he's really smart which isn't easy to find. Most guys are a little different"
Tania: "You're right. Just be careful okay. A lot of guys come off that way and as time goes on there true colors show and now you're stuck in a bad situation."
I nodded my head with my eyes still closed.
Tania: "You're at that age where you not only like boys but you can fall in love with them as we-"
Langston: "No the fuck she not! She lucky she goin' to this dinner!" He yelled from the room
I opened my eyes and looked at my mom
Tania: "Langston shut the fuck up!" She laughed while shaking her head "As I was saying-"
Langston: "Who you talkin' to like that?" He asked now standing in the doorway
Tania: "The one standing in the doorway" She said dipping the brush in the gold eyeshadow
My dad looked at me and rose his eyebrows. I laughed and shook my head.
Langston: "Finish my daughter makeup before you get body dropped" He said walking out the bathroom
Tania: "You ain't gone do shit, don't be tellin' lies in front of yo' child!" She yelled while laughing
Langston: "Yeah we'll see"
My mom looked at me and rolled her eyes
Tania: "Your dad gets on my nerves. Close your eyes"
I chuckled and did as told. See my mom and dads relationship is what I want they are literal GOALS to me.
*15 minutes later*
So I just finished getting dressed and look really good, not to toot my own horn but BABYYY!!!
