So me and Dj just got to the place where prom is being held and it's really nice in here, the dj is poppin' and everybody looks good.
Destiny: "Hey girl!" She greeted walking up to me, giving me a hug
She pulled away and snapped her fingers
Destiny: "Bitch this dress! Is everything!" She hyped
Me: "Thank you girl, I told you."
Destiny: "Hi Dj." She said giving him a hug as well
Dj: "Wassup Des" He greeted
Destiny pulled me away as one of Dj's friends walked up to him.
Destiny: "What's up wit' you a Chris?"
Me: "Nothing."
Destiny: "So why'd you come with Dj?"
Me: "Because he didn't have a date, Chris was fine with it." I lied
I didn't tell Des' about me and Chris's situation because I know she has a big mouth and I don't need my business all over campus.
Me: "Where Chanelle at?"
Destiny: "She not here yet."
Me: "That's a first, i'm usually the last one to show up."
Destiny: "Well you know she got her a new nigga now."
Me: "One that she ain't let NOBODY see yet."
Destiny: "Exactly."
I laughed a little as I scanned the room, as I got to the door I saw Chanelle walk in with Deon.
Now I know y'all don't remember, but Deon is one of Dj's good friends that Destiny likes to bug all the time and he be gettin' all mad.
I looked down to keep myself from laughing.
Destiny: "What?" She asked
Me: "Huh? Nothing." I said shaking my head
She looked around and saw Chanelle and Deon walking up to us. I could see her low-key roll her eyes. I hope little miss Destiny isn't catching feelings for Deon, because he don't like her like that.
Me: "Hey Chanelle, hey Deon" I said giving them a hug
Deon: "Wassup Amiyah, Destiny."
Destiny: "Hi Deon, Hi Chanelle"
Dj: "Ayyyeee! Wass good." He said dappin' Deon
After a while of talking we found a table to put our stuff and sat down. We weren't even sitting for two minutes when 'How you wanna do it by Mo Gwop' came on. Me and the girls got up and started dancing until the guys came to join in. Me and Dj were dancing together and I must say he's a pretty good dancer.
As we were dancing I saw Chris walk in and he was with someone, but not just anybody. He was with home girl he dm'd.
