Your artwork was scattered absolutely everywhere across the floor, to a degree where there wasn't even room to move. You groaned and put your paintbrush down on one of the very few spare spaces on the floor. You jumped across the room to the sink, cautiously making sure that you weren't stepping on anything. You washed all the splashes of bright colour of your hands, and dried them on the dirty paint splattered tea towel. There was a knock at the door, so you call out for whoever it was to open it. The door opened and standing there was Scotty, grinning widly. He inspected the mess on the floor. "Sorry, it's a bit messy in here, I've been busy." He rolled his eyes, "Just a bit lass," he smirked. He jumped over the empty floor space over to where you were standing. "Did you paint all of these yourself lassy?" You nodded, blushing slighty. He marvelled at your works, stepping around the room again. He took a particular interest in one in the corner of the room, a painted landscape of old Scotland. "It's Scotland!" He exclaimed excitedly. "I, I painted it for you actually," You shyly admitted, turning red again. "It's beautiful..." He muttered. "Are you sure you're not just saying that because I took a fancy to it lassy?" You shook your head, "Look on the back." He carefully moved the edges of the canvas to see the other side of it. He read it out loud, "My Darling Scotty, I'm sorry I can't show you the real thing, so here's a painting instead." He smiled. "It's beautiful lass..." You smiled shyly back at him, and he grinned. He came back over to you and took you in his arms. He picked you up and spun you around, like you were weightless. You giggled, as he pulled you gracefully back down to you feet. "I love you lassy," He smiled. "I love you too Scotty." You walked back over to where the painting was and tried to pick it up, but struggled with the weight. He picked it up for you, grinning widly. Scotty always loved doing things for you, especially things like this. He smiled once more, "Let's go hang this up!"
