Kirk
The car lurched foward, and you hear the back being crunched in a metal heap. It wasn't a huge crash, just a little bump, but enough to cause some damage. You gripped the wheel tightly, glad that it wasn't to major, and that you were still alive. You pulled over, checking how you looked in he mirror because hey, every little but helps. You stepped out and saw a tall blonde guy leaning on the hood of his car. "No, he's hot!" You thought yourself internally groaning. "Hey," he greeted, nodding casually. "Seems we've gotten into some trouble here," he said offering some sort of a smile. "Yeah..." you muttered, pulling out your phone. "I have my details here," You said passing him the phone. He pulled out his own phone and scanned it, also sending you his details. "At least I don't need to ask for you phone number," He smirked, with a flirty smile and a sly wink. You rolled your eyes laughing and taking your phone back. When he put his own phone back, you noticed a star fleet communicator. "You're in Starfleet?" You asked, watching him smile. "Yeah, Captain James Kirk, at your service," he said casually. "Are you?" You nodded, showing your own communicator. "Yeah I'm a science officer." You said smiling, "By I'm not on the Enterprise, I'm on the Lexington." He nodded, "Shore leave?" You nodded in reply and he smiled. "Are you going anywhere at the moment?" He asked. "No, I just went for a drive," You replied, shrugging. "Wanna go get something to eat, it's nearly lunchtime?" He asked with a flirty smile that he had a strong reputation for. "Aren't you known for one night stands and quick relationships?" You asked, raising an eyebrow. He chuckled, "Eh, maybe, or maybe I'm just a lonely guy who wants to take girl out to lunch." He smiled up at you, still sitting on the hood of his car. His car seemed fine but yours was in no state to go anywhere in. "Yeah okay then, I can't drive anywhere for now anyway so..." You shrugged, trying to play it cool because you were dying inside knowing that you could possibly be heading out with a really, really attractive star fleet captain. He motioned for you to take the passenger seat, as he sat in the drivers seat and pulled on a pair of sunglasses. He looked over the top of the sunglasses and winked at you, causing you to giggle and blush crazily. "You're not abducting me are you?" You asked giving him a sarcastic look. "Nah, if I was you'd know," he smiled.
The sun was setting and he was sitting next to you on the beach, still wearing the sunglasses that he used when he started flirting with you. "Thank you, I had a really great time," you smiled, looking across to his perfect golden hair and deep blue eyes (nearly hidden behind sunglasses) that matched the ocean in front of you. He shuffled closer to you and out his arm around your shoulder, making your stomach flutter. "Yeah, and sorry about your car..." He muttered, looking ahead into the ocean and the sun disappearing over it. "It wasn't all your fault, and this totally made up for it," you laughed enjoying his arm around you. "Jim, what are we gonna do when shore leave ends? We're on different ships and..." You stopped and just sighed softly. He was a one night stand kinda guy, he wasn't interested in a relationship. You started regretting saying anything, it would probably just scare him off. He sighed, and didn't say anything. You knew then that you'd blow it, you wanted to run away and hide. "I can request to have you transferred, but if not we can always video chat or message or something..." He said trailing off, and interrupting your thoughts. It took a few seconds to register that he hadn't been scared off at the thought of a relationship, even a long distance one. "Really?" You asked turning to him. "People just think that I'm a one night kinda guy, but I just hadn't found the right girl..." He muttered smiling softly at you. You couldn't help but smile and melt inside. "I dunno, we'll make it work," he shrugged. "I'm glad," you admitted. The sun had almost disappeared, along with your uncertainty. "Wanna hang out again tomorrow?" He asked, taking off his sunglasses. "What did you have in mind Captain?" You smirked. "I dunno, there's a pretty nice coffee shop next to a roller skating rink, or there a couple of nice beaches around here or there's a couple of other places, I dunno," he shrugged. You smirked, "I could skate circles around you James Kirk." He grinned, "Is that a challenge?" You returned his grin, "Maybe it is."
