Without Him..

Tears formed at the corner of Susan's eyes.

"I'm sorry Susan I didn't mean to hurt you."

Susan slowly gets up holding her cheek. Mark comes running over.

"Susan what happened? Why are there tears in your eyes?"

I automatically look right at Beta Jordan.

"It was Beta here he did this."

Beta growled at me again.

"Quit using Beta like it is my first name!!"

Susan turns to Beta.

Sir, we need to speak to the Alpha immediately. It is urgent.

Beta nods and gives me an evil glare then walks us up to a beautiful mansion.

We walk inside and a man comes down the stairs running towards us.

When I see him my jaw drop. I thought Beta was gorgeous but he was on a whole another level.

I stare at his beautiful hazel eyes, his soft dark brown hair.. wow two in one day..

"Uh, are you okay?" I snap out of it again and realize everyone is staring at me. Crap. I did it again. I was caught staring at another gorgeous sculpted man.

I lower my eyes in embarrassment. I think I heard Beta snicker.

The man laughs as he walks over to us then he stops as he sniffs the air.

"What is the wonderful smell. It's like cherries and strawberries mixed together."

He looks straight at me and I become very uncomfortable.

"Mate."

I laugh. "What did he just say." I turn looking at Susan for an answer.

Susan closes her eyes and takes a deep breathe.

"He said Mate."

I slowly stopped laughing as I realize she isn't joking. 

What is wrong with these people?
