Without Him..

I smile as I stare at myself. I look so much like my mother. Mother! I almost forgot. I need to help her. Well first, I need to find her. I close my eyes searching within for a connection. Finally, I get a faint connection. I see her fighting the Vampire God. I growl and run towards them. They both turn and look at me. Mother looks at me and yells, "Go back my love! You are needed on Earth. Help our kind and don't be deceived. This isn't what it looks like."

Suddenly I feel a rush of wind blow me backwards. I fall and immediately open my eyes.

I walk down the hall and then hear a man's voice calling for someone named Delilah.

I follow the voice to another room.

A man is lying there in pain. He has his hands over his eyes.

He seems so familiar. He is such a handsome man. I snap out of it. I have never had feelings for anyone since Maverick. I have never gotten over him. I never will he was my world. I walk over to him.

"Who are you looking for?" I say with a lot of authority in my voice.

The man moves his hands and his jaw drops.

"Delilah, what happen to you? You look different."

I laugh.

"You are delusional. I am not Delilah. I am Valera."

Before we could say anything else. A high pitch shrill surrounds us.

Someone is trying to control my mind. I fight back. No one controls me.

"What is your name?"

The man looks at me with a hurt expression.

"Kingston, don't you remember me?"

Kingston suddenly jumps out of bed holding his head.

"Get out of my head!!"

I stare in astonishment. No wolf except me, Maverick and Michael could prevent mind control..

Michael... where is he? I close my eyes trying to find him. I can't find a connection.

Why isn't my brother answering? Is he in danger?
