Beta Jordan walks in smiling and then looks at me and gives a dirty look.
                              What a jerk.
I turn back around and look at Aaron.
I can't help but stare at him. He looks exactly like Kingston. They have to be twins.
                              Aaron chuckles.
                              "Yes, Delilah we are twins."
                              I look up astounded.
"You can read my mind too?"
                              He shakes his head.
"No, but it was quite obvious that you were staring at me."
                              Jordan snickers.
"Yeah she was probably just checking you out."
Valera smacks him in the back of the head.
                              Jordan raises his hands up.
                              "Hey, she's done it before."
                              Aaron and Maverick laugh.
Red doesn't even describe the color of my face.
A crash is heard from downstairs.
Beta Jordan gets up quickly mind linking some of the guards.
We all rush downstairs to see vampires pouring in through windows and the front door.
Aaron pushes me behind him towards the stairs.
Maverick pulls Valera back as well.
                              Valera growls.
                              "I need to fight too!!"
                              Maverick shakes his head.
"You and Delilah have to be alive until the end. We can't lose either of you or you have doomed everyone."
We run upstairs and go into my room locking the door.
I suddenly get this thought in my head.
"Valera, why aren't the werewolves going crazy to go kill the vampires?"
She thinks for a moment. Then turns and looks at me.
                              "When is you birthday?"
I'm not entirely sure what that has to do with anything.
                              "May 4th."
                              Valera sighs in relief.
"They aren't going crazy right now because your birthday was before mine. You see it's opposite in a war. On my birthday the people we are against goes crazy while their leader's birthday causes mine to go crazy. Next May, if the war is still going, then the wolves will look just like the vampires and seek extinction."
I nod in relief as well. That means we have self-control for now. It all makes sense with Aaron because he didn't kill Troy when he saw him and Beta Jordan didn't go crazy searching for vampires.
Screams and yelling comes through the walls.
Valera grabs my hand. "We can't stay here. We gotta go sis. You need to talk to the Vampire Goddess and see if she will give us direction from here because we are clueless."
We sneak out the window and past wolves and vampires fighting. We see a truck with its door open so we take the chance to get in and drive to safety. If there really is such a place.
