Without Him..

Panic

We all sit down in front of Kingston's desk. Everyone becomes very serious quickly.

Susan clears her throat and begins to speak.

"So Alpha, as you can see I have brought Delilah here."

I look across at him and he winks. I roll my eyes.

"Yes Susan, I'm glad you did. I wouldn't have met my mate."

I give him a dirty look. "I am NOT your mate. I am not an animal. I can make my OWN decisions thank you very much."

The three of them look at me confused.

Susan continues talking.

"So anyways, she was kidnapped by a doctor from the dark society."

Kingston growls.

"How could let one of our kind get taken in!!"

Susan lowers her head. I'm sorry Alpha but she doesn't have a scent.

Kingston laughs.

"Of course she does, I could smell her when she walked in."

Beta Jordan cuts in.

"Sir, I can't smell her scent either."

I'm sit there feeling completely confused.

Susan turns and looks at me.

"Delilah, what is your last name?"

Everyone turns and looks at me.

"My last name is Valera."

Beta Jordan quickly jumps from his chair. Kingston's jaw drops.

Susan puts her hand over her mouth.

I lean back uncomfortable.

"Why are ya'll looking at me like that?"

Susan drops into her chair and looks at Beta Jordan and Kingston.

"This cannot be real. She couldn't be real. Am I dreaming?"

Kingston looks me in the eyes.

"This is your REAL name right?"

I nod.

Everyone suddenly begins to go crazy.

Beta Jordan is instantly running out yelling at the people to close off the town.

Kingston is on his phone calling someone andSusan rushes off to go lock the house down.
