I look straight at Kingston.

"Uh, Kingston what is wrong?"

He won't look me in the eyes.

"You are the Moon Goddess' daughter. The name Valera is the name of the daughter of the Moon Goddess. You...You shouldn't be here. The only reason you could even be here is if the Moon Goddess is at war with one of the gods. The Vampire God and the Witch Goddess. This hasn't happened since the beginning of time. She sent you down once before. Your were the greatest warrior on the planet. You see when she is at war with the one of the gods then the gods people are at war too. This isn't any normal war. It's a war of extinction. One side tries to wipe out the other.. you are the only reason the werewolves survived."

I begin to feel sick to my stomach. If this is true why can't I remember?

Kingston grabs my hand and get on his knees.

"You can't remember because you died and went to be with the Moon Goddess. Our survival meant extreme sacrifice. You gave your life for us. She must not want you to remember your past life."

I begin to think.

"Kingston, what if I am not the right Valera?"

Kingston smiles sadly.

"Delilah, Valera is a name banned in the wolf world. It is forbidden by the Moon Goddess. Those who ever chose to use that name were killed by the Moon Goddess. That means you are Valera."

I can feel a tear begin to fall down my cheek. I feel so overwhelmed right now.

Kingston gets up and hugs me tightly. I look him in the eyes and see he has tears in his eyes too.

"I don't want to lose you, Delilah. I just can't lose you." 

I put my head on his chest.

" Kingston, I'm so scared.."

Kingston holds me tightly.

"I know sweetheart, I know."
