We head to the council and walk inside. The elders sat in their seats calmly watching us.

Maverick speaks first.

"There is a war about to rage between werewolf and Vampire. We need to find a way to protect the wolves while the gods fight it out. This will include the Moon Goddess' daughter Valera and the Vampire Goddess' daughter Delilah."
The council suddenly begins to whisper among themselves.

Then they quiet down. The leader speaks.

"We will protect our kind but the two must fight on the border of Wolf and Vampire territory. That way neither has an advantage. We must be fair in all that we do. That is all."

We are ushered out and now we aren't sure what to do.

Troy whispers into Mavericks ear. Maverick nods then turns to talk to me.

"Delilah we know you are more dominant in your wolf but for the time being you need to let your Vampire side of you out. You must go and warn the vampires of what is going to happen. We are your people but so are they. It is only fair that we play this right so that no one get wiped out. You will be respected among them."

He points to himself and Valera.

"We won't. So you need to go with Troy and get this all arranged right."

I look at Troy. He's avoiding looking me in the eyes.

I nod and Troy walks me over to a jeep.

"Where did this come from?"

He laughs.

"I know people."

We get in and begin our journey to other side of the forest.
