Positive. The test was positive.

We should've been more careful, we should've made sure this wasn't going to happen.

I walked into the kitchen to tell Peter the news, but he wasn't there. All that was there was a note saying he had gone a mission and might not be back for a while.

He goes on missions all the time I never know when he'll come back, but I needed him now. I needed his help.

We are only in our early twenties and now we are going to have a baby on our hands. Things couldn't have gone worse.

A week went by and he wasn't home and I had no way of contacting him.

Two days later

I woke up this morning feeling terrible.

I ran to the bathroom and threw up. It felt like my insides were coming out of me.

I cried knowing that Peter couldn't help me. Suddenly I heard a knock on the door.

I ran as fast as I could to the door and saw Peter standing there smiling.

"Peter!" I screamed as I threw my arms around him.

He kissed my forehead "you miss me?"

"You have no idea."

He lifted my chin up and saw I was very pale.

"(Y/n) are you okay?"

"I'm-uh I'm pregnant...and I have been having morning sickness."

He kissed me and hugged my tightly rubbing my head.

"It's okay."

"Can you just hold me while we watching tv?"

"Of course."

He picked me up bridal style and laid me on the couch as he wrapped his arms around my shoulders.

"I'm gonna be a dad..." I heard him whisper to himself.

He kissed my head and for the first time in a week I finally felt better.
