Spidey Friend | P.P.

"Hey (y/n) wanna hang out tonight?" Betty asked me as we walked down the hallway to the end of the school.

I looked at her and sighed "I wish I could but I already made plans. Maybe tomorrow?"

She groaned "you say that everyday! You have been busy every night for the past month, who exactly are you hanging out with?" She questioned.

"Oh just a friend of mine." I smiled to myself as we continued to walk down the stairs outside of the school.

"Ugh! You're mysterious-ness is killing me!" She cried.

"I'm sorry!! I got to go I'll see you tomorrow okay?" I smiled.

Betty rolled her eyes and smiled back "okay but you better hang out with me tomorrow."

"I'll try my best!" I said as I walked faster to get to my apartment.

When I got home I zoomed to my room and shut it. I spread all of my homework on my desk and started to work as fast as I could hoping that he wouldn't show up before I finished.

I finally finished my homework and looked at the clock...it was 6:00pm and I knew he was coming any minute. Thankfully my mom takes the night shift at the hospital so she doesn't know about my special visitor I have every night.

I rushed to my mirror and fixed my clothes and put my hair into a messy bun. I jumped onto my bed and started to play on my phone until he got here.

I heard a soft knock on the balcony window and I smiled as I turned my phone off and walked up. I cleared my throat and fixed my hair as I opened up the door.

"Hey." He said trying to catch his breath.

"Hey Spidey...how are you?"

He nodded "I'm good. I'm good. And you?"

"I'm great. Sit down, sit down!" I said as I pointed to my balcony chair. He sat down and lifted up his mask so I could see his mouth.

"Oh you're letting me see your mouth now?" I laughed and he laughed with me.

"It's the least I could do, I mean we do hang out every night might as well give you something." He smiled.

I bit my lip "right yeah..."

It's kinda weird to think that Spiderman wants to hang out with me every night even though he did save me from one of the alley thieves it still was crazy to think he wants to talk to me.

"How was your day?" He asked me as I sat down in the chair in front of him.

"It was good although a friend of mine has been ignoring me lately."

"Oh I'm so sorry...why is she doing that?"

"Well it's a he actually, his name is Peter. Peter Parker, you don't know him since your from Brooklyn so."

"Yeah! Pfft Peter Parker never met the guy." He scoffed. "W-why is he ignoring you?"

"You know I don't know really. I hate though because I really like him." I looked down

"Um like-like as a friend?" He asked

"Well if you must know, I kinda sorta have a teeny tiny crush on him?" I let out a small laugh.

His mouth opened wide "Really!? Wow I'm just...I'm offended."

"What? What why!? I didn't mean to-"

"I just we have been spending all this time together I thought we had something here! What does he have that I don't?"

"What!? I didn't-we don't-I don't even know who you are without the mask on! I love your personality I do...but Peter Parker..." I stood up and sighed "He's smart, funny in a corny sorta way, he's gorgeous, and he smells really nice oh and he's so so kind!"

"Wow you really like him huh?"

"Yeah...I'm sorry I didn't think this-us- was or could ever be a thing...I mean-"

"No yeah I'm a superhero and have to keep my identity a secret I get it."

"I'm sorry...I really am. I just-"

"You like this peter guy."

"Yeah...I have since the seventh grade. But now he's ignoring me. I thought we had a little something over the summer but I guess I was wrong."

"You might be surprised. Guys are dumb but they aren't stupid."

I laughed "you just contradicted yourself there Spidey."

He shrugged "I'm just saying don't give up hope too quickly."

"Yeah well, I've been waiting a long time. It might be time to just...move on."

"I wouldn't be too sure...oh! I have to go!"

"Spidey senses?" I asked

He nodded as he put down his mask "I'll see you soon!"

He leaped off the balcony and started to swing his way to the next few blocks.

I sighed as I shut my balcony doors and locked them and jumped into bed.

The next morning I got up and went to school but this time it was different.

"Hey (y/n)! Wait up!" Peter yelled down the hall.

I turned to him and smiled "wow you're talking to me?"

He walked in front of me and frowned "I'm sorry I have just been trying to think of the right words to say."

I raised an eyebrow "what are you talking about?"

"I like you, like I like you a lot. I have since well since you spilt your water on me in seventh grade."

"Oh my gosh you remember that!?" I said putting my head down in embarrassment.

"Yes but definitely in a better way than you do apparently." He laughed. "But I do like you. Like a lot...I just didn't know what to say or how to say it so...I ignored you."

"For over a month?"

"Yeah and I'm really sorry...do you think you can forgive me?"

"Of course I can. I really like you too." I looked to the side "man it's just so weird..."

"Wh-what is?" He asked

"Oh it's just a friend told me not to give up on this guy that I liked yet and at first I thought it was his way of being supportive but...man...I guess those Spidey senses really do work." I laughed

"Did you say Spidey senses?" He laughed "I'm sorry is your friend Spiderman?"

"As a matter of fact yes, yes he is."

"Yeah I so don't believe you." He scoffed as he grabbed my hand and smiled.

I smiled back "oh well I can prove it to you! Whenever he comes over next I'll ask you to come over."

"No, no! I uh I believe you."

"Oh you do now do you?" I said as I raised an eyebrow.

"Uh yeah of course I do...tell me are his abs really as defined as people say they are?"

"They're alright." I shrugged as I walked down the hall but peter stopped walking in shock.

Peter started to run to catch up to me.

"Wait wait what do you mean they're just alright!?"
