Request: One where Tom's mum, Nikki, gets sick and (y/n) has to step up into the mother role even though she has only known the family for 5-6 months. All the boys except Tom thanked her for her help and she gets a little pissed at Tom because he hadn't recognized or noticed the help she did for the family. Then during SMH an interviewer asks Tom about his mum and he says that she's better and thanks the reader for the help she has given the family. Then he confirms that they are dating.

Today I was going over to The Holland family's house to have lunch with the family since me and Tom have been dating, secretly, for six months. He said he wasn't going to make it public until he was ready to share the news because of all the publicity he would get for dating his co-star, but I was okay with that.

I walked up to the door with my bags and rang the doorbell. Paddy opened the door, looked at me, then turned his head back into the house.

"Mum! (Y/n)s here!" He yelled

Nikki walked up to the door and gave Paddy a squeeze. "Oh (y/n) you look beau-achoo!" She sneezed.

"Oh bless you. Are you feeling okay?" I asked seeing she looked a little paler then usual and sounded very congested.

"Oh just a little cold! No worries!" She smiled

"Are you sure you look very tired."

She nodded "nothing I can't handle. Come in, come in!" She motioned for me to come in.

Tom, Harry, Sam, and Dominic were all sitting on the couch talking and drinking tea when they saw me.

"Hey (y/n)!" Harry, Sam, and Dominic smiled

"Hey guys!" I smiled still holding my bags.

Tom smiled and jumped up to hug me and gave me a quick kiss on the cheek "hey love. How was the trip?"

"It was great...and I came bearing gifts!" I said holding the bags up.

Paddy heard and raced into the room. "I heard gifts!..do you have one for me?"

I crouched down to him. "Of course I do!" I smirked and gave him a new soccer ball.

"Wow thanks (y/n)!" He smiled and gave me a hug.

Everyone smiled when I saw Nikki giving a weak smile.

"Excuse me..." I walked over to Nikki in the kitchen. "Are you alright Mrs. Holland?"

"I told you to call me Nikki...and no I actually feel really sick."

"Well you should get some rest. Let me help out." I smiled

"You don't have to do that."

"I want to...now please get some rest."

She touched my shoulder "thank you." She said as she walked to her room and shut the door.

"Where did mum go?" Paddy asked

"She wasn't feeling well so I told her to get some sleep."

"Oh okay." I looked down.

"Hey let's try out that new soccer ball shall we?" I said to cheer him up

"Yes!" Paddy said running outside.

I was about to walk outside.

"Hey where's are presents?" Harry joked

"Oh right sorry!" I gave them each there gifts "there you go!"
