Have you ever just had the feeling of wanting something so badly, but you don't know how to get it? Like you try so hard, but they don't even acknowledge your existence and they go on their way?

I've known Harrison for years, you could say he was like a brother to me. We would do almost everything together until one day he met Tom.

Tom was one of those boys you'd want so badly, but you know you couldn't have because if you would have told him the way you felt he would just laugh and be confused thinking you were just joking.

I couldn't be around him without blushing or smiling like an idiot, but he would just look right through me.

When someone would ask Tom if he liked me he would just chuckle.

"Oh (y/n)? Yeah she's like a sister to me." He Would said with a wave of his hand. Right in front of me! It was a horrid experience for a 13 year old girl with a major crush on her best friend's best friend.

Harrison and Tom started to hang out on there own more and more throughout the years and I was left in the dust after sometime, like a piece of trash that you would hold onto till you found a proper place to dispose of it.

When I turned fourteen Tom was too busy with his new movie and Harrison was too busy being in the shadow of him. Harrison loved it of course. It was his best mate. I sat there in my house on my fourteenth birthday waiting for my two best friends to hang out with me, but they never did.

I was the forgotten one. They were my only friends. They didn't mean to abandon me. It just sort of happened. First it was not being able to make it to the movies, then it was not coming over for New Years like they did the past years before, then it was not showing up for my birthday party.

I was abandoned by the only ones I cared about.

I got over it eventually and I moved on until that day I saw Tom and Harrison sitting in the cafe I worked at. It was surprising since he had already become a huge star because he was now Spiderman but he seemed like the same boy I would walk to school with for years.

"That table needs waited on (y/n)." My manager said.

"Can't someone else wait that table?" I said almost begging.

He gave me an evil glare.

"Or I can do it..." I started to walk over there "no big deal."

I let out a huge sigh and as I was walking over to the table Tom saw me and his mouth opened a tiny bit. He must have been in shock of something Harrison said.

"Hi, I'm (y/n) I'll be your server today. Can I start you off with a couple of drinks?" I said looking at my pad and paper trying not to make eye contact.

"(Y/n)!" Harrison said with a smile

"Oh hi! Um what was your name again?" I said almost in a sarcastic tone.

"It's me Harrison. It hasn't been that long has it?" He asked confused as to why I didn't know his name.

"It's been a while actually. And you are?" I said and now they could tell I was being sarcastic.

"It's Tom...are you okay there (y/n)?" He asked sadly

"Oh me!? You want to know how I feel now? Well I'm just peachy." I said "now what would you like to drink?"

"Um...water for me." Harrison said

"Can I-can I get a hot tea?" Tom said cautiously

"Of course. I'll be right back." I said now walking away.
