New Tricks

The next morning Leo and Scorpio woke up in a green room.

"Attention losers. Since five of you were killed we've added a few new things to the maze. There are now magic tiles that can teleport you into other places and do other cool things," said Ophiuchus.

"Five? Libra, Capricorn, Virgo, and Sagittarius. That's four," said Leo.

"Cancer," added Scorpio.

"Oh right. She's still dead isn't she? That's kind of cool. Being dead but still interacting with the living," said Leo. Then he stood up and stretched.

"The first boss was a dragon, the second one was a cobra. I wonder what the next one will be," said Scorpio.

Leo showed off his muscles. "I'm sure we'll take it down."

"Your muscles are useless against these bosses," said Scorpio.

"Oh. Right!" said Leo.

Scorpio sat down and started eating blackberries. Leo dug into the strawberries.

"I wonder what happens to the others when they die. I hope they don't suffer," said Scorpio.

Leo sighed. "I'm still not over Sagittarius. He died to help us kill the boss. I wish he didn't have to die like that."

Scorpio chuckled. "But he died in a heroic way.
Don't you think he'd want that?"

"He wouldn't want to die any other way!" replied Leo. Then he continued eating his food.

"Wake up Ar-"

"Shhhh!" Gemini covered Pisces' mouth.

"What?" asked Pisces.

Gemini pointed at Aries. She had a big grin on her face. "I wonder what she's dreaming about."

"She looks the way you do when I cuddle you," said Pisces.

"Aww she's probably dreaming about Leo."

"We need to get up." Then Pisces made a bunch of water crash into the bed. Aries shot up and glared at him.

"Um... ready to hunt monsters?" asked Gemini.

"I was having a perfect dream!" said Aries. Gemini and Pisces smirked.

"What was it about?" asked Pisces.

"Or should we ask, who was it about?" asked Gemini.

"Shut up! We have monsters to kill!" Then Aries picked up her sword.

"She told us to shut up! I'm like, so offended right now," said Gemini in a joking tone.

"She's being so mean that I could cry!" said Pisces. Then Pisces and Gemini laughed and high fived. Aries sighed and started eating black berries.

After they were finished eating, team blue went monster hunting. Aries made little hearts out of fire in her palms without realizing it.
