Arizona in concert

Aurora began working random jobs ,the whole shut your parents up thing,but her depression was deepening and back in rockstar world,the fact arizona was getting no more letters was making her sink into a depression. Until one day in the summer . Aurora magically won tickets for front row to see her favorite rockstar..Arizona herself...unfortunately it was 3 states away..the truth is,she had never "won" those tickets. Arizona's assistant had them mailed to her in fervent hope that she would see aurora actually show up and maybe bring arizona out of depression. Her family magically won a vacation nearby which meant after begging she was going to see her favorite rockstar....her family hoped Arizona would keep her distance. They assumed she would considering she chose her life.

       Months later she dressed up in her arizona tee shirt and jeans. Finally made it to the concert. She was so excited to be there.  Finally her opening act whose name was lester Derek started his set. He saw the picture Arizona's assistant showed him of Aurora from MySpace earlier that day and was told to look for her in the front row so he could point her out to Arizona who still had no clue aurora was even there.  As he was singing he spotted her. Beaming up at the stage watching his every move. He jumped down and swiveled his hips at her while singing. She was somewhere between in awe and cracking up. He looked up behind him toward backstage and winked trying to get their attention.  He moved out of the way and walked back up the stage stairs. Her assistant saw aurora gasped and covered her mouth. She ran to get Arizona. She coerced her out of her bus and took her to the side of the stage concealing her behind a speaker. She pointed to aurora telling her who she was..arizona stood in shock watching aurora beaming up at lester watching his set. She had to gather all strength and keep her emotions to a minimum. Because lester was about to finish his set and she was on next. As lester walked off he hugged Arizona behind the giant speaker. She smacked him on his arm. "You just sexually danced in her face !?" He laughed. "She's a big girl now mama, I just wanted to make sure I was seeing who I thought it was. Besides she blushes like you do. In sexual situations " she smacked his arm again blushing. He hugged her again and smacked Arizona on the ass."have a good show mama " the announcer came onstage as the crew started to assemble the stage for Arizona's set. "Whose ready for Arizooooooooonaaaaaa" Arizona watched auroras reaction. Aurora screamed almost dancing in place. Arizona giggled trying to not cry.  "She's beautiful ari" her assistant said patting her on the back. "I'm not sure I can do this." She replied. "Yes you can. ..you're her favorite rockstar...she feels that connection ari..she just doesn't know why that's all."  Arizona nodded. Her assistant walked off knowing Ari needed to gather her nerves. Ari watched her daughter look at her tourbook, holding the hoodie she bought. A smile crept across Arizona's face. The lights on The stage went down. She watched aurora scream and put her hands over her mouth. The music started..the drums the lights ..arizona felt frozen,her assistant pushed her she suddenly came back to life dancing on autopilot onto the stage..the crowd roared. The first song she couldn't even look at rora. As she called her. " Hellooooo everybody welcome to the partyyyy!!!!" Arizona beamed ,she looked down at rora who was seemingly in awe at their eye contact. She winked at her. Rora stood there smiling.  Ari laughed as rora took a picture with her cell phone.  She made it through the entire set fumbling once because of nerves. She laughed.  " it's ok to mess up and forget..wait wait I didnt.mess up..i changed the song..after all ..I wrote it!" So..I can do that" She joked. She looked down at rora laughing.  "This will be the last Song"  as Arizona belted out the hit she became famous for. She looked down at rora who was singing every word with her. "I'm singing with my daughter" she thought.  Arizona was just smiling ear to ear. She finished her song and walked off stage into the darkness. " aris assistant hugged her tightly.  " I didn't think I was going to make it through the set ." "You did it!" And she loved it!"  "ONE MORE SONG!!!" The crowd shouted.  She could see rora joining in ,obviously having the time.of her life "  Arizona and her assistant cracked up. "Get out there mama ..shes yelling for you!" Arizona pranced back out onstage laughing. The drums having a war back n forth  the lights blinking Arizona dancing..rora lost her mind screaming. She began the song that the audience loved because during the middle guitar solo it was extended and she shook the audience hands.           Rora knew this and was already clinging to the front of the stage holding on for dear life. Then came the break. Arizona really wanted to hold roras hands the entire time and pull her up to her and then kidnap her for life. But she started on the right side of the stage and worked her way around. But when she reached rora she held both of her hands and looked her right in the eye.  Rora seemed frozen in absolute fear. She wanted to say something about "omg I love your music ..or ..omg I love you." But nothing would come out. Ari giggled knowing she was nervous. She didn't want to let go. She wanted to hear auroras voice.  But Arizona knew she had a job to do and let her hands go and shook the rest of the fans hands by the stage.  The lady next to rora said she must have been special to hold both hands.  Rora beamed.  The band waved. Ari gave one last wink to rora. And walked off stage.  Her assistant hugged her as she cried. Knowing she had to leave her again. Her 18 year old daughter who thinks she just saw a miracle, that she even got noticed by her favorite rockstar. "Its ok  ..its ok I have a surprise for you backstage" Arizona's assistant consoled her. As rora left to go in the rest of her vacation with her family she was so happy. The adrenaline was pumping through her like a drug. All she could talk about was Arizona and how beautiful she was and how she actually winked and waved and wasn't made up and was real...her parents were in disbelief of just the whole situation and annoyed at the same time because they knew..but they let her revel in her happiness..for now
