only Mahatma Gandhi had seriously read the Christian bible, he would not have stated such a silly remark about Christ and his followers - the Christians. Listen to what Christ revealed as truth in Luke 14:26 - "If any man come to me and hate not his father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters, and yea, his own life also, he cannotbe my disciple."

Here's more from Christ, the Son of God, the Savior of the world, and specially the Savior of the Filipinos in the Philippines revealing another truth as reported by Luke 19:27: "But those enemies of mine who did not want me to bring over them—bring them here and kill them in front of me.'

Now listen to Christ revealing more truth in the bible as reported by Matthew in 10:34-37:
34 Don't assume that I came to bring peace on the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. 35 For I came to turna man against his father,
a daughter against her mother,
a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law;
36 and a man's enemies will be
the members of his household.37 The one who loves a father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; the one who loves a son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
In his book - ATHEISM - THE CASE AGAINST GOD, George H. Smith wrote:

"The teachings of Jesus are unsystematic, and many of them, particularly those related in parable form, are notoriously obscure. Despite these divergent disagreement over the contents of Jesus' teaching, this unanimity of praise is highly dubious."

As with me, thanks to the truth revealed in the bible as written by inspired authors of God - I learned to be an atheist. Indeed, Isaac Asimov said it even more graciously: "Properly read, the bible is the most potent force for atheism ever conceived." - - - Poch Suzara
