Atheism is a big scandal in the Philippines. Atheists are usually referred to by the mediocre and the philistines as the "stupid Filipinos."

Here, however, is a bigger scandal: all of the rotten, greedy, selfish, and corrupt officials in the Philippine government all believe in God and that God is GOOD. After all, God is always ready and willing to forgive our sins and crimes at any time.

In the meantime, in times of war, it is often declared that there are no atheists in foxholes. In the Philippines, even in times of peace, it is often proudly declared that there are no atheists in the Philippine government. - - - Poch Suzara
