The TRUTH hurts; but LIES are far more damaging and
can last for a thousand years.
In the land of my birth - LIES continue to damage the
health and wealth of my country. It has been ongoing since
the arrival of Catholicism some 400 years ago. And to think
that the Catholic church in the Philippines today is less
known as a church, but more known as "schools, colleges,
and universities." And to think further these establishments
are not educational institutions, but are, in fact, commercial enterprises.
Indeed, as a people, we Filipinos have yet to defeat the
evils of corruption that comes from the power of Catholic education. - - - Poch Suzara
