For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. And a person's enemies will be those of his own household."

Luke 14:26"If anyone comes to me and does not hate his own father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters—yes, and even his own life—he cannot be my disciple.

Luke 19:27 "But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them - bring them here and kill them in front of me."

Matt 8:22 'But Jesus told him, "Follow me, and let the dead bury the own dead."

Romans 8:38-39 "For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers,nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Matt. 10:37-39"Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me. And whoever does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it."

John 14:6 Jesus answered, " I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me."

Luke 23:43 Jesus to a fellow thief crucified beside Him: Jesus answered him, "Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise."
