Happily, there are so many many schools, colleges, and universities established all over the Philippines.
Unhappily, however, there is no such thing as a "healthy system of education" to teach the Filipino how to grow healthy as a people, and to teach the Philippines how to develop wealthy with science and technology as a free and independent nation.
You can see the sick historical results around our sick society: sick government officials; sick illegal drug smugglers, dealers, pushers, and users; sick lawyers and sick judges behind our sick courts; sick tax cheaters and evaders and fixers; sick women producing 3 babies every minute of the day and night; sick imported automobiles, motorcycles, trucks, buses and trains; sick street children; sick owners of newspapers, television and radio enterprises; sick public transportation system; sick restaurants existing in the streets of our sick cities; sick doctors behind sick hospitals; sick priesthood industry behind sick churches; and specially, the Sick Man of Asia all hoping and praying to win in the sick lotto games one day, or at least to find better paying jobs in foreign countries.
Today in this already 21st century, since the end of World War 2, more than 50 million Filipinos have already migrated to some 200 other foreign countries enjoying a higher standard of living and thinking than in the Philippines - the one and only Catholic country in Asia since 500 years ago! - - - Poch Suzara
