We Filipinos are born innocent, not frightened. We are made frightened by going to school; especially to learn how to live a life of fear; especially the fear of divinity in heaven; and, the fear of deviltry in hell. Thus, the purpose of education in Philippines is to learn how to be faithful as the Sick Man of Asia.
Who benefits out of this mess - the priesthood industry, who else! If changes for growth as a people and changes for development as a nation were to take place - we Filipinos must first have the courage to dump the lies and deceptions behind the mindless values and thoughtless beliefs that's keeping us spiritually corrupt as a people and historically dumbstruck as a nation.
Our nation's future wealth can only come from our children's present health. The best we can do as a people is to keep millions of our children away existing in the dirty streets of our major cities. They should be living not in dirty streets but should be enjoying health and sanitation living inside clean homes! Is that impossible of a national mission to accomplish? - - - Poch Suzara
