So how come in the whole of Asia only the Philippines has been converted into Christianity; but diseases among Filipinos have never been cured nor healing in the Philippines has never been permanently successful? We Filipinos are still famous throughout the world as the Sick Man of Asia!
Consider the reality of daily life in the Philippines: It is a daily competition to be the criminal rather than be the victim of the criminals. To think that among the most successful, filthy rich criminals in the Philippines are the government officials always in cahoots with the equally filthy rich priestly criminals as spiritual leaders behind the church.
Consider schools, colleges, and universities as own and managed by the Catholic church. They are places where students learn not HOW to think fearlessly; only WHAT to believe fearfully. Indeed, to carry on here, there, and everywhere that to love a divinity up there is far more precious than to love one's country down here! - - - Poch Suzara
