Mara

It's been 4 days since we arrived in Paris. We had 3 days left and then it was back to my old life filled with pity filled looks and frowns; people reminding me of how long I have left.

We've seen a lot of sights since we got here. We saw the Eiffel Tower, The Louvre, Arc de Triomphe and even went to Disneyland for a day.

I honestly couldn't ask for better.

"What are you thinking about?" Dylan says as he pulls me towards him, pulling me out of my thoughts.

"How lucky I am." I say softly with a smile.

He laughs at this. "And you said I was bad with the cheesy pickup lines."

I frown. "I'm serious."

"You're not the lucky one." He says and places a kiss to my lips.

I smile after the kiss and wrap my arms around his neck.

"So where are we going today?" I say curiously, still grinning.

"Well I was thinking we could go to the Champs-Élysées." He says with a French accent.

Now that was sexy.

What? He is my boyfriend; I'm allowed to think that.

"The what?" I say, raising an eyebrow.

"Oh you know, just shopping." He says, pretending to be casual.

I squeal. "Thank you thank you thank youuuu!!" I say and jump onto him, wrapping my legs around his torso and hugging him.

He chuckles and puts me down.

"Aren't I the best boyfriend?" He says with a smirk.

"Yes you are my knight in shining...toilet paper." I say and run into the bathroom before he can catch me.

"One more shop and then we'll go, promise." Mara begs and I sigh and nod.

Turns out being the "best boyfriend ever" has its downsides.

Like being dragged along by a crazed shopaholic for 4 hours.

When she found out there was a McDonalds in Paris, oh did she want to try it. But let's say she was beyond pissed when she saw that they didn't sell Big Macs. That was a bad moment.

So, we looked for a Burger King- and there was no Burger King.

So instead we had to go to a "boring café." According to Mara, only old people ate there.

And now here I am. Going into "one last shop" for the seventh time.

I've lost count of how many shops I've been dragged into. But let's just say, I regret my choices of treating her.

"All done!" She says after she's payed at the cash register.

Finally.

I think to myself as I sigh with relief.

As we leave the shop, I hear a gasp and turn to Mara. She turns to me with pleading eyes.

"One more shop?"

Honestly kill me.

I wasn't meant to be writing today. I was meant to be out but I cancelled it because I was too lazy.

So here's your unexpected chapter.
