I woke up when I felt Matt's soft kissed again. Matt stirred briefly beside me. I placed my hand over his that was resting over my stomach. I turned and opened my eyes. He smiled at me and kissed me. I yawned and stretched.

"Good morning," he whispered before he kissed my forehead. I giggled and put my head on his chest as I sighed contently.

"Can I wake up like that every morning?" I asked, smiling. He chuckled and pulled me on top of him. I sat up on my elbows and smiled down at him.

"All the time," he smiled. I kissed him softly and smiled. I remembered what I had planned for us today and my smile widened. I slipped over to his side and grabbed the remote. Turning on the TV, I started flipping through the channels. He sat up next to me and laced our fingers together. I stopped on E! News when I saw Matt's name on the screen.

"... Matt's concerts continue to surprise people. At his concert in Louisiana the other day, he brought his girlfriend out on stage," the reporter said. It switched to his concert. They showed the whole thing from his announcement, to me running back off the stage. My face wasn't as red as I thought it was on stage. It also showed him kissing me backstage after the show. Matt relaxed beside me and wrapped his arm around me. The clip flipped back to the reporter.

"The couple was also seen out shopping and hanging out in Louisiana yesterday," the reporter smiled as a picture of Matt and me walking down a sidewalk with bags appeared in the corner of the screen. I sighed and rolled my eyes. "The pair is becoming one of the most popular, and young, couple in Hollywood." The reporter finished. She switched to a different subject and I looked up to Matt. I held a blank expression. He pulled me into him and rubbed my arm. I rested my head on his chest.

"I'm sorry Marissa. I can't control the media," he sighed. I shrugged.

"It's not that big of a deal. I guess I'm used to it now. Everything comes with a price," I smiled up at him. I kissed him gently and giggled. "Plus... I'm kind of famous by association." I shrugged. He laughed and kissed my nose. He rested his forehead on mine.

"I love you," he whispered. I looked into his deep blue eyes and smiled, bringing my head closer to his.

"I love you too," I whispered back. He kissed me softly before I curled into his again. We watched TV for a while in silence. Neither of us wanting to move. He looked down at me curiously. "What?" I asked.

"We're not staying like this, are we?" he asked a bit sullenly. I laughed and kissed his jaw. He sighed and looked disappointed. I only laughed harder and squeezed him briefly.

"We can stay like this for most of the day. We're going to go see a showing of Ragtime later in the evening," I smiled. He brightened a bit. "But tomorrow, we can stay as long as we want." I smiled wider. He smiled as well and pulled me up, giving me a long kiss. Pulling away, he smiled.

Lying against him, I ended up taking a nap. I woke up again when I felt that Matt wasn't underneath me. I reached over to my side and finally opened my eyes when I realized that he wasn't in the bed at all. I looked around the room. I didn't see him. Sighing, I looked at the clock. It was an hour or so before the show started. I got up and started getting ready. The event was a dressy one, so I dressed in the little black dress that I got the other day. It had a one shoulder swoop that draped down my chest. The rest was tight and it stopped before my knees. I went to the restroom and straightened my hair. It fell freely around my shoulders. I ran my fingers through my hair to get my side bangs out of my face. I put on my black heels and did my make up in a smokey eye with my signature shiny red lipstick.

By the time I was heading to the door to see if Matt was in Benny's room, he walked through the door. Matt smiled and took me in with his eyes. I looked him over as well and bit my lip softly. He was decked out in black slacks, a light blue dress shirt that complimented his eyes, and a plain black tie. He had his black dress jacket slung over one shoulder. He walked in and I closed the door behind him.
