Chapter 25

5 months later.

Angela stayed with Aqua back at the house while I went to visit Killian. I walk in and there he is laying on his bed. I walk up to him and smile. "Good morning love," I say and I kiss his forehead. That's when I see something that makes me jump for joy. He opened his eyes.

"Killian!" I scream. He's staring at me blankly, he seems to be confused. I run out the door and call the doctor. She comes in and takes out the breathing tube. "Welcome back Agent Jones." He smiles and nods. "Thanks." "You feeling ok?" He nods. She starts to check him and then writes something on his chart.

"Ok will be back," she says and I'm crying like crazy. "Love you're awake." He smiles. "Well you can't get rid of me that easily." I kiss him and we are smiling and laughing as we are kissing. I hug him and I felt so happy. I get a chair and sit by him.

"I'm so happy you're alive." "Why did I die or what?"
I nod. "I saw you when you flatlined on the operating table, they even said your time of death, oh that broke me, I was crying like crazy." He gasps. I nod and sigh. He grabs my hand, "then how'd I come back?" I laughed.

"Well I was having a contraction and I sort of hit you in the chest because the pain was unbearable and I think with that you came back." He chuckles. "Even when dead you're still pushing me around." I laugh and smile. "Garret is in a high security prison." He smiles, "good."

He looks at my stomach and gasps, "where's the baby?" "She's at the house with Angela." He nods. "You found out?" I nod. "Emma I can't help but feel responsible for all this, Liam died because of me and it was all because I had fallen in love with Milah, well I thought I was." I sigh.

"I was just running away from what I was feeling for you." "Shh it's all in the past now." He leans back and sighs. "Emma how long was I out." "Almost 6 months." His eyes shot open. "Oh my gosh, I'm sorry I left you alone, we made that promise as kids and I broke it again," he says but then I silenced him with a kiss. "I love you." I smile. "As do I, my love." He smiles.

That's when we hear a knock. "Look who's awake Aqua?" I hear from the door. It was Angela holding Aqua. She walks up to us and hands Aqua to me. Aqua looks at Killian and then claps her hands. Killian smiles then starts to cry. "Oh look at you my little love." I smile hearing him say that. "She looks like me." I nod.

She then reaches her hand out to him. "No Aqua, not yet." Killian sighs. "Let me hold her." I smile. "She can hurt you." He sighs. "I want to hold her." I smile and nod. Killian grabs her and she touches his face and smiles. She then places her head on his chest and closes his eyes. "She knows me." I nod. "I would bring her almost everyday Killian." He smiles with tears in his eyes. "Thank you."

That's when Angela starts to walk away. "Angela." Killian calls out to her. She nods and walks up to us. "Why are you walking out?" She smiles. "This is a private family affair," she says with a half smile. Killian shakes his head. "You are family." Angela starts to cry.

"It's so good to officially call you my sister." Angela smiles. "And it's good to call you my brother." Killian extends his arm out and Angela hugs him. My heart soared seeing them hug. They weren't alone, one thing is to have a wife and child but to have a brother  or sister, now that's priceless. She leans back and smiles. "Now I'm officially home." We both nod.

"Yes you are Angela." She smiles. "Well be prepared because I am going to be an overprotective big brother." She rolls her eyes. "Really, you're going to be like Liam?" Killian nods. "Maybe worse." I laugh. That's when the doctor walked back in. "Well Agent Jones, you need to stay for another day or two for observation and to check up on some tests, then after you can go home." We all jump and poor Aqua sits up and starts to cry. We had scared her.

She reaches out to me and I grab her. I start to rock her and she's still fussy. She's probably hungry. "Emma I'm starving do you want anything?" Angela asks and I laugh. "I thought Aqua was hungry." She laughs. "Hey her aunt just got hungry too." I smile. "No I'm good." "And what about you Killian?" He shakes his head. "Nothing Just water." She nods then walks away with the doctor and closes the door.

I sit down and I feed Aqua. She starts to drink my milk and she slowly starts to close her eyes. That's when Killian caresses her head and Aqua takes a hold of one of his fingers. "She sure loves to drink." I smile and nod. "She didn't want my milk for the longest, but one time I fed her while you were asleep so from that day on she's been drinking my milk." She smiles.

"She knows that's the good stuff." I chuckle. "Really?" He laughs. "You know I'm messing with you." I nod. "I'm so happy you're alive my love, I seriously don't know what I would do without you." He let's go of Aqua and caresses my face. "As long as I live, I will never, ever leave you, Aqua or Angela." I smile. "You three are my life." I smile.

"Promise?" He nods. "Well if I don't get killed while out on the field." I gasp. "You're still thinking of going back?" He nods. "Emma I'm an FBI agent, it's in my blood, this is just a minor set back, once I heal properly I'm going back." I smile and nod. "Well if that's what you want." He smiles and nods. That's when Aqua lets go and I sit her up and pat her back.

She burps and smiles. "Well I might take longer because I want to spend time with my queen and my princess." I smile. "And I want to spend time with my king." He leans in and gives me a kiss. "Your wish is my command my queen." I smile and nod.
