Chapter 21

A week later

I haven't seen Angela in a week and I am dying to know the results. Luckily today is the day that I get to have them in my hand but of course I have to find a way to go and get them. Luckily for me Killian was sent up North for some training the day after the trip to the lab so he will be back tomorrow. So I have all day to get it.

There I am driving to the lab to get the results. I finally get there and I walk up to the receptionist and ask for the results, She nods and hands me the paper. I'm super anxious to see what the results were. I read the report and it says 99.9% match, they have the same mother and father.

"I knew it!" I scream and everyone is just staring at me like I'm insane. "Sorry," I say. I walk out and I'm ecstatic, Angela is his sister. So she didn't die that day but wait then that means Liam is dead and he was Killian's brother, oh my poor husband, he's going to be heart broken. I get in the car and I drive back to Mist Haven. I get home and Angela is outside waiting for me. I get out of the car and make my way to her.

"I'm so sorry Angela, I've kept you waiting out here." She nods. "It's ok." I nod as I take out the house keys. "So where you've been?" "I know." "What do you know?" I ask nervously as I open the door to the house. We walk in and she grabs the picture frame of Killian in his FBI suit. I close the door and she puts it in front of my face. "I know he's my brother." "What?" She scoffs.

"When I left here, I went to investigate and did some snooping around." I sat down in the dinning room and sighed. "Emma he's my brother, he was abandoned in that wretched orphanage when he was 10 and we have the same birth parents." I sat there quietly. "Emma answer me; did you know?" She screams. I close my eyes and sigh. I then put my bag on the table and I hand her the envelope with the DNA results.

"What's this?" She asks as she snatched the envelope from my hand. "My answer." She opens it and starts to read it. "So Liam and I have and older brother?" She asks with tears in her eyes. I nod. "You're my sister in law Emma?" I get up and she hugs me. I felt so much pain when I hugged her but happiness at the same time. "For years it was just Liam and I." I smile.

"I've always wanted a sister and now I'm going to be an aunt." I smiled. "Yes you will be an aunt to Aqua." She smiled, "all that's left is to find Liam and let him know that we aren't alone in this world, I'm sure he will be thrilled." I nodded but in my head I was dying because she doesn't know that Liam is dead. "Well...." I decided not to tell her a thing and just welcome her into the family.

"Now that you are family welcome to your new home," I say and she smiles. "Feels good to have a family and a home." I smile. "You hungry?" I ask. She nods. I smile. "Awesome then I shall make some spaghetti." She nods and smiles. As I was preparing dinner I get a phone call.

"I wonder who it is," I say as I pick it up. "Emma Jones," I say. I felt odd answering so I recorded the call. "If you want to see your husband Killian Jones alive meet me tomorrow at 8pm by the lake here in Mist Haven, and you better show wouldn't want little Aqua to be fatherless," the voice says.

I hang up and I turn pale. "What's wrong Emma?" I sit down. "A person called saying that if I don't go tomorrow to the lakes here in Mist Haven, that person will kill Killian," I say to Angela. She gasps. "But how?" I shake my head. "I thought he was up North," I say out loud. "I have to go to the FBI and let them know." She nods.

Angela and I get in the car and drive over to the FBI building. We get in and we walk to the 5th floor. "Robin," I softly say as I see him in the hallway. "Emma, it's so good to see you, what is it that you need?" I sigh. "It's about Killian." He nods. "Isn't he up North?" I look down, "can we go to your office and talk in private." He nods and all three of us walk into his office. "Oh sorry Robin, this is Angela Jones, Killian's sister."

He gasps. "Whoa, what?" I nod. "I thought Killian didn't have any family well besides you," he says and I nod. "Yes well today we found out that she is." He nods. "So what do you need from me?" I take out my phone and I play the recording. He sits there quietly. "When did he call?" "Like a half hour ago, after I hung we rushed over here." He nods.

"Why is He here, what did he get himself into?" Robin shakes his head. "Wait I know he was working on the lake body case, maybe he found a lead up North and he got himself into trouble, damn it Killian," Robin says as he hits the desk with his fist.

"I was worried because I call him each morning to ask how his training went and the last two days, nothing, it goes straight to voicemail." I nod. "Yeah that's what happens to me too but I just thought he was busy." I start to cry. "Robin, what do I do?" He sighs.

"I need to talk to the people up North and ask them to check out his hotel room and see what clues they find up there." I nod. "I'll let you know tomorrow morning what we are going to do." I nod. "I have to be there at 8pm if not they're going to kill him." I say. Angela grabs my hand and smiles, "don't worry Emma, we will find him."

I grab her hand and smile, "I hope so." "Ok ladies well if you excuse me, I'm going to go help bring my best friend home." I smile, "thanks Robin." "Thank me when Killian is safe and sound," he says and he escorts us out of the office. We make our way down to the car and I just hope to God that we save him and bring him home.
