Chapter 35

2 weeks later
I have finally found a lead on Damien so and Im going to go investigate his house. I decided to go alone this time but of course with the help of my team from the lab I will be able to leave little cameras all around his place. I have all the little cameras inside my watch and as I walk they will be placed in remote areas around the house.

I get to the house and I'm all prepped and ready for this mission. I didn't want to tell Emma because then she would be all uneasy so I'll tell her after. I walk up to the door and ring the door bell. The door opens and I see Damien smiling. "Agent Jones, surprised to see you here." I smile.

"Sorry for coming like this unannounced, but I was wondering if I can talk to you about something." He nods as he escorts me inside. "What can I help you with?" I sigh. "You know about my daughter's death right?" He nods. "Yes, I have, I'm sorry for your loss." I nod. "Thanks but we've decided to end it so we are just trying to wrap up any lose ends between my family and Emma's." He nods.

"I was looking over some things and it seems that Emma's parents and yours worked together?" He starts to get a little nervous which meant I'm about to hit something. "Yes they did work together." I nod. I get up and start to walk around the living room and look at the various pictures and pretend to touch them but I was putting the cameras on there.

"And from what I heard your parents died because of Emma's parents?" He nods. "An accident," he says in a very stern tone. "Do you blame Emma's parents for your parents deaths?" He chuckles. "Why are you into investigating this if your putting an end to your daughters case?" I chuckle. "Whoa there Damien I'm just following protocol." He nods as he fixes his tie. He's getting more nervous.

"It's standard routine, relax, unless you're trying to hide something." He shakes his head. "Nothing to hide." I smile. "Then see nothing to worry about here." He smiles and nods. I continue asking him dumb questions to stall and I was able to insert all the cameras.

"Ok well I'm sorry for taking up so much of your precious time, you have a lovely home, looks bigger on the outside though than on the inside." He smiles. "I have a man cave, in the basement." I nod. "Nice." He escorts me to door and I walk out. "Good day." He nods and closes the door. I get in the car and drive out.

I call Jim and I hear him from the speakers inside my car. "We are in boss, the cameras are picking up perfectly." I smile. "Be there in 30 minutes." "See you here."

30 minutes later
I arrived to the lab and I see Jim and Chloe in Chloe's work station looking at the cameras. "What you seen?" "Nothing but he's not home he just left so why don't we go explore the man cave that he said he supposably has?" I laugh and nod at Chloe. She moves the cameras and they start to move going down to the basement.

When we take a look we were all in shock. There was not a man cave in there but instead a bunch of different rooms. We were all quiet as can be. That's when we come across a room and see a teen girl training. "Who's that?" They all shrug. She turns around and I gasp. "Is that?" My heart dropped. Chloe zoomed in the camera and Chloe screamed.

"It's Aqua." I nod. "That's her it has to be." I walk up to the screen and tears fill my eyes. The camera zooms out and I continued to cry. Emma is going to be so happy to know that our baby is alive. "Skye your instructor is here," I hear a man say. She stops training and walks out of the room. Why did he call her Skye? I gasp as I see her walking out.

"Follow her." Chloe nods as the cameras follow her. She walks into the other room and wipes her sweat. "Your mission starts now, Damien went to get your target," the man says and I gasp. She shakes her head. "So...." he pulls out a gun and hands it to her. "You will kill Emma Jones tonight." We all gasp. I take out my phone and call Emma.

The call goes straight to voicemail. I hang up and call Lacy. She answers. "Lacy where's Emma?" "She just left with Damien." My heart drops. "Stop her, Whatever you stop her but don't let Damien know you want her to stay at the Institute." She starts panicking.

"Killian you're scaring me, what's going on?" "Just don't let her go with him." "Ok I'll try." I hang up and look at Aqua cocking the gun. This bastard went to get Emma and have Aqua kill her. The Institute is closer than Damien's house so I will go there first.

"Thank you guys, we found Aqua But now I gotta go save Emma." "Is there anything we can do?" I put an ear piece in that Chloe has. "Please stay on the screen and tell me if anything changes with Aqua." I nod. "Thank you." I walk out and run to my car. I can't believe that after so long I will finally have my family back together, well if I'm able to save them all.
