Friends Forever?

Chapter 39

Several days later

Breaking out of this place was way easier than I thought. Emma and Killian are great, and a little voice inside of me is hoping that they are my parents but I have to know for sure. I managed to over hear the cops saying that they were taking my uncle to a high security prison not so far from here.

Time passes by and I made it to the prison. I walk by the entrance and I manage to steal the guards security card. I observe the area and I see a short guard on duty. I knock him out and steal his uniform. I put my hair in a bun and put on the hat.

I walk in through a side door and I see it was a records room. I see a computer there and I tried to login but unfortunately I don't have a password. That's when I see a little scanner and I scan the card. It passed and I clapped. I typed in my uncles name and they have him in the psych facility before sending him to one of the cells.

I check one of the maps and the psych ward is close by. I open the door and the coast was clear. I make it there and I see that he was in one of the rooms waiting to obviously be evaluated. I open the door and my uncle smiles.

"My beautiful Skye you came to break me out?" I shake my head. "I came here so you can tell me the truth." He chuckles. "About your parents?" I nod. "Yeah your parents are Daisy and Grant." I scoff. "How Can you prove that?" He shakes his head. "You're letting Emma and Killian get inside your head Skye, you're stronger than this." I shake my head.

"They are showing me that I am their daughter yet you have no legit proof that Daisy and Grant are my parents." He chuckles. "I always knew you were weak." I gave him a weird look. He was handcuffed to the table but he broke lose. He walked up to me and I started to panic.

I tried to hit him but he twisted my arm, then grabbed my neck. "You were always pathetic, wanted to be loved." That's when I'm feeling pressure on my neck, he's choking me. "I don't know why I thought you could kill your own parents." I gasp. "So it's true?" I manage to spit out as he was cutting off my oxygen.

He smiles and nods. "Yes Emma and Killian are the parents you oh so longed for Aqua." I gasp, so my name is Aqua as well. "Too bad you're not going to be able to spend time with them because you're going to be dead." I try to break free but he's stronger than me. I try to scratch him but it doesn't work. I'm starting to choke, I can't breathe anymore. He walks away from the door and pushes me against the wall.

"I can't wait to see your life fade away in your eyes." That's when I feel way too weak, I'm dying. That's when the door opens and I glance over it and I see my dad. He shoots Damien in the arm and he lets go of me. I fall to the ground as I gasp for air. That's when my mom comes and hugs me.

"Skye dear, are you ok?" I'm trying to still take in oxygen and I hug her. She hugs me tightly and I see my dad handcuffing Damien. "Touch my daughter again you bastard, and I'll make sure you end up somewhere worse than here." I smile and Damien chuckles. "Do whatever you want but I will kill Emma and Aqua."

I shake my head hearing him say that. That's when a prison guard takes him away. That's when my dad walks over to me. "Aqua I mean Skye, are you ok?" I smile. "It's Aqua." They both smile. "I'm sorry for the way I treated you guys, I was just confused," I said as a tear rolled down my cheek.

My mom wipes it and smiles. "It's ok." I shook my head. "I don't deserve your love, I mean now I know you're my mom and dad but what I did is..." That's when they both hug me. I cried like never before as I felt the warmth of their hug. I backed away and smiled.

"We will always love you no matter what." I smile hearing my dad say that. "How did you know I was here?" My mom laughs. "Aqua, you're just like your father and this is what he would have done, so we both knew where you had gone." I chuckle nervously.

"You wanna go back home?" I nod. "Home with you guys?" They nod. "Yes your brother and sister are anxious to meet you." I smile. "Oh my God that's right, I'm a big sister." That's when I see my mom in tears. "Oh I'm sorry for what I said." She shakes her head.

"Your father and I have waited a long time for this day my love, you were taken from us out of our own living room when you were little and we missed so much of you growing up so knowing you're finally coming home makes us well mostly me emotional." My heart broke.

Damien took me away from my real family and was trying to use me to kill them. Who would do something like that? I'm happy he's going to be spending the rest of his days in jail. I smile and hug my mom.

"Well I'm happy to be going home with my real parents." They both hug me super tight. "We love you Aqua, and we always will." My Dad says and I smile. I never imagined anyone could love me that much. All I can say is that I'm so happy I'm finally going home to where I belong.
