Chapter 4

Lance was feeling so depressed on what just happened in school. He went to his room, locked his door, and lied in his bed.

He took a deep breath and sighed. "What am I going to do," he said lying on his bed.

Then, someone knocked on his door.

"Who is it?" He asked with a lousy voice.

"It's me. Dad."

"Go away," he replied as he rolled on his bed.

"Better open up if you don't want to lose your door," said his father

So, he got up and opened the door. He looked at his dad with a blank face and said, "What do you want?"

"I just want to know what happened in school today, but now that i see your face it's like you didn't have some fun," said his dad while feeling worried about him. "C'mon. Tell me what happened."

"I don't want to talk about it," said Lance as he closed the door.

His dad pushed the door and said, "You won't conquer it unless you tell me."

Lance sighed as he entered his room. Leaving his dad at the door way. He sat on his bed and started explaining. After explaining what happened, his dad placed his hand around his shoulder trying to encourage him more.

"Don't give up on where you are now. Your path is just the beggining of your adventure. If you face harder trials, then face them. No matter how hard it is. As long as you don't give up on yourself," said his dad with an encouraging voice.

He looked at his dad and said, "Thanks, Dad. For the encouragement."

"How about this. I'll train you and teach the basics first thing in the morning," said his dad.

"Don't you have work tomorrow?"

"Well it is the weekend, so I have nothing to do at work," explained his dad. "Now, does it sound good to you?"

"Yeah," said Lance with a smile on his face.

"Great. Alright. You better come downstairs for dinner. Your mom cooked your favorite."

When Lance heard that he got up from his bed and raced his dad to the stairs. They had a pleasant dinner when they reached the table.

After dinner, Lance went to take a bath. While he was showering, he stared at his necklace again. Thinking of what his dad had told him earlier. He meditated on it.

After his shower, he got dressed in his night clothes and jumped into his bed. He had a last stare at the ceiling, and, before you know it, he passed out.

It was white everywhere. No sign of people anywhere. Just white snow. From the sky, something was falling. It landed on Lance's hand. It wasn't a rain drop, but rather a snowflake. It was beautiful.

He looked around just to check if there were people, but still there was none. It was just him in the snowy wonderland.

"Where am I?" he asked himself silently.

"You're in my domain," said a mysterious voice.

Lance started to look around, but he was alone. "Who are you?" he asked.

"Who am I? I ask you... Who are you to enter my domain?" asked the mysterious voice.

"I don't know how I got here," simply answered Lance.

"What is your name, lad?" asked the mysterious voice.

"I-I am Lance. Lance Garen," he replied. "How about you?"
