Days have quickly past. Lance kept his secret well hidden until this point. And, of course unusual things are still happening.

It is already the half of the semester. Lance was getting used to his new powers. He fought monsters every night like a professional. So far he hunted 8,362 monsters on his own. And, together with Justin's score, they both hunted a total of 14,179 monsters. People in school wondered how they got that many with just one sorcerer.

Lance was walking in the hallway one cold morning. He heard people whispering about him as he walked. They were spreading rumors about him that he just depend on his partner, but he didn't. As he heard those rumors, he just ignored them all.

While going to his class, a girl was walking towards him. She wore a violet jacket with a hood over her head. She was walking with style with her head facing the ground.

As she walked, she suddenly bumped Lance's shoulder and walked away.

"Hey!" said Lance as he felt irritated.

"Calm down, Lance," said Pagos as he spoke with Lance in his mind.

"But, she did it on purpose," Lance thought.

"Just let it go," said Pagos.

So, Lance went to his class and ignored the situation.

When he went to class, Justin noticed that he was feeling irritated. He still had that poker face when he is curious. So, when Lance got to his seat, Justin began asking him questions.

"Something's bothering you. I can tell," said Justin as he placed his feet on his table.

"It's nothing really important," said Lance, trying to avoid him.

As classes went on, his mind was bothered by something. It's like he felt something was going wrong.

"Lance, did you feel that?" asked Pagos, speaking in his mind.

"Yeah, I feel it. What is it?" Lance asked desperately.

"I can sense that it's coming from the city. You better get going, or else," said Pagos.

"But...I have class!" Lance exclaimed in his mind.

"Just say that you don't feel normal," said Pagos immediately.

"But-"

"Just do it!" Pagos exclaimed.

Then, Lance faintly raised his hand; and the teacher noticed him right away.

"What is it, Mr. Garen?" asked the teacher.

"Ugh, teach, I don't feel so good... May I go to the clininc?" Lance said in a rush.

"Umm...okay, but-"

Before the teacher continued what he was going to say, Lance quickly ran out of the class.

Lance was quickly running down the hallway to the stairs that leads to the rooftop. There was nobody to block him on the way.

He ran up the stairs and to the rooftop. He opened the door and tried to catch his breath. He closed the door and stood watching the panorama of the rooftop.

"Are you ready for another mission?" asked Pagos, testing his perseverance.

"Ready as I'll ever be," said Lance, feeling very determined.

Before Lance transformed, Pagos said, "By the way, I designed a new disguise for you."

"Really? What is it now?"
